Tonight’s the night! Green Light Driving School is proud to join the North Aurora Making Spirits Bright Parade at 5 PM.
There’s lots to enjoy from 5–7 PM, so if you’re willing to brave the cold, come out and support this great community event! ❄️🎄💚

Making Spirits Bright is almost here! 🥳🎄Join us this Saturday, December 6, from 5-7pm at North Aurora Riverfront Park! Check out all the details below!

🚨Holiday Light Parade: Watch the parade that kicks off the festivities at 5pm!

🎄Park Lighting: At approximately 5:15pm North Aurora Riverfront Park will officially be lit for the holidays by Mayor Mark Gaffino! Join us for the countdown and to see all of the amazing new light displays we have in store!

🔴Santa's Workshop Craft Making Station: We'll have an ornament station at Village Hall to create and decorate ornaments that participants can take home AND hang on the 12-foot tall Community Christmas Tree! Pop by anytime from 5:30-7pm.

🎅Visits with Santa: Sit with the jolly old man himself to share your Christmas list and pose for photos with Santa in the Overlook Gazebo from ~5:20-7pm.

🦌 Pet Live Reindeer: Come pet and take photos with live reindeer from 5-7pm!

🐧 Scavenger Hunt: Find all the hidden penguins and get a prize! ~5:20-7pm.

🍗 Holiday Food Drive: Give back to others by bringing donations to the Village's Annual Food Drive! Volunteers will be collecting donations at the entrance to the park. Collections will be accepted from 5-7pm.

🎄Christmas Tree Grove: Come see the beautiful Sponsorship Christmas Tree Grove!

☕Hot Chocolate and Ice Cream Bar: Cook's Ice Cream Cart & Catering will be on scene selling deliciously hot hot chocolate and holiday flavored ice cream from 5-7pm!
