We said what we said.

Before you give up on your current vehicle and buy another used one, hear us out.

That used car might look shiny on the outside… but you don’t always know what’s going on under the hood.

Sometimes repairing the vehicle you already own makes more financial sense than starting over with a whole new set of unknowns.

And sometimes replacing the vehicle really is the better decision. It all comes down to the condition of your car, the cost of repairs, and what you’re replacing it with.

At Colorado Engine & Complete Auto Repair, we help customers weigh their options every day.

Your engine has officially entered its “I can’t do this anymore” era. 💀✌️

And unfortunately, quitting isn’t really an option when you’re a work van.

This 2021 GMC Savana G3500 rolled into Colorado Engine for a little more than a pep talk. We’re talking a full 6.6L V8 engine replacement.

Because when your engine decides it’s done with the 9–5, we’re here to get you back to business.

It’s what we do.

Another engine install underway at Colorado Engine.

Jose is is working on this 2000 Chevrolet Express G3500, replacing its 5.7L V8 and getting this van ready for a whole lot more miles.

Engine replacement is a lot more than pulling one engine and dropping another one in. There are connections to transfer, components to inspect, fluids to fill, systems to verify, and plenty of details that have to be right before that vehicle leaves our shop.

This is the kind of work our team does every day—and Jose makes a big job look pretty routine. 💪
If your vehicle is dealing with engine failure, high mileage, knocking, oil consumption, low compression, or another major engine problem, replacement may be a better option than giving up on the vehicle altogether.

Another Jeep getting a second life.

This 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara is in the shop for an engine replacement on its 3.8L V6 — and with a 6-speed manual and 4WD, this is one worth keeping around.

When an engine fails, replacing the vehicle isn’t always the best answer. A quality engine replacement can give you years more life out of a vehicle you already know, love, and own.

At Colorado Engine & Complete Auto Repair, engine replacement is what we’ve been known for since 1983 — but we can take care of everything else your vehicle needs, too.

Most major car problems don’t happen without a warning.

A new noise. A warning light. A small leak. A vibration that wasn’t there before. Your car suddenly driving a little differently.

Those little changes can be your vehicle’s way of telling you something needs attention and catching a problem early can sometimes mean the difference between a repair and a much bigger repair. 🔧

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t wait until you’re stuck on the side of the road. Bring it to Colorado Engine & Complete Auto Repair and let our team take a look.

275 HP was fun. 415 HP is better. 😏

This 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport came in with a 3.6L V6 and 6-speed manual — and left with a whole different attitude.

We added a supercharger kit that takes it from roughly 275 HP stock to around 415 HP at the crank, with approximately 325 HP at the wheels. That’s about 125 more horsepower plus an estimated 90–110 ft-lbs of additional torque. 🔥

And did we mention it’s a 6 SPEED MANUAL? 👀

Some jobs are repairs.
Some jobs are upgrades.
And some jobs are just plain fun.
These projects never get old.

1955 called… it wants its Chevy back 🔧

This 1955 Chevy Bel Air rolled into Colorado Engine and Complete Auto Repair for an engine replacement, and of course we had to bring you along for the process.

Originally born with a 265 small block V8 in 1955. Leaving with a 350 300 HP 🔥.

We’ve been replacing engines since 1983. Projects like this still never get old.
