THE TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE: AN ICON SINCE 1959

The Triumph Bonneville story began in 1959, its name inspired by Triumph’s record-breaking exploits on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, including Johnny Allen’s incredible 214.7 mph run in 1956.

The original T120 quickly became one of the defining British motorcycles of the 1960s. With its 650 cc parallel twin, twin carburettors and unmistakable styling, it combined serious performance with a look that would become recognised around the world.
