Another Preservation Detail for the team here at Details, and this beautiful 1951 Morris Minor was every bit as much fun as we hoped it would be! ❤️

There’s something pretty special about working with a vehicle that has genuinely lived a life. Antique paintwork, products and techniques from a bygone era — but with timeless results. 🕰️✨

And just for a bit of fun… we tackled this one one side at a time. 😉

🚗✨ 2023 SUZUKI SWIFT SPORT | NEW VEHICLE ENHANCEMENT & PROTECTION ✨🚗

This little hot-hatch made its way into Details for what was essentially a New Vehicle Enhancement & Protection Package — and being that this 2023 Suzuki Swift Sport was already exceptionally clean and tidy, we treated it pretty much the same way we would a brand-new vehicle. 👌

The process started with a thorough decontamination wash to ensure the paintwork was completely clean and ready for what came next, followed by a gentle enhancement polish to refine the finish, maximise gloss and bring that beautiful Suzuki paintwork up another notch. ✨

🛡️ CARPRO IMMORTAL PPF was then installed to provide an additional layer of protection to the selected high-impact areas. PPF is essentially an invisible sacrificial layer between the vehicle and the outside world — helping defend the paint from stone chips, road debris, scratches and everyday wear while keeping the original finish looking its best.

And to finish the package off… 💎

✨ CQuartz Ceramic Coating was installed over the vehicle, providing that final layer of protection along with enhanced gloss, slickness and easier maintenance.

The result? A Swift Sport that not only looks fantastic now, but is properly set up to stay that way! 😍

We were recently asked a really good question by a client before booking in their vehicle:

“Do you have the appropriate insurance to work on my car?”

The answer here at Details is absolutely YES. ✅

And honestly, it’s a question we think more customers should be asking.

When you hand over your vehicle to someone for detailing, polishing, coating or any other form of cosmetic work, you're entrusting them with something that can be incredibly valuable — both financially and personally.

Sometimes, despite our best efforts and the utmost care, the unexpected can happen. Accidents happen, equipment can fail, or an already delicate surface can react in a way nobody anticipated.

And as automotive finishes and surfaces continue to evolve, we're seeing vehicles with increasingly delicate paints, trims, plastics, screens and interior materials. Then you have the other end of the spectrum — classic, vintage and extremely rare vehicles, where preserving the original finishes can be just as important, if not more so.

This 2025 BYD Shark 6 came in ready for some of that Mid-Tier Details loving — and sometimes, you don’t need anything overly complicated to make a vehicle look like new again. ✨

✨ RANGE ROVER SPORT — PAINTWORK REVIVAL ✨

This 2014 Range Rover Sport rolled into Details desperately needing some love — and that’s exactly what it got. 😎

We started with a thorough decontamination process, carefully removing the years of embedded contamination before turning our attention to the paintwork.

From there, an enhancement polish was carried out to restore clarity, gloss and depth to the finish, bringing some much-needed life back to this Range Rover. ✨

Unfortunately, being an Asian-imported vehicle, the paintwork presented us with another challenge — severe acid-rain etching across the horizontal surfaces. 😬

As detailers, it can be tempting to chase every imperfection, but sometimes the most professional decision is knowing when to stop.

Some of the deeper etching could not be safely removed without compromising the integrity and remaining thickness of the factory paint. Rather than aggressively cutting into the clear coat simply to make the defects disappear, we chose to preserve the paintwork and improve the overall appearance as far as we safely could. 👌

And that's an important part of what we do here at Details — enhancement and preservation, not simply chasing perfection at any cost.

The result? A significantly cleaner, sharper and glossier Range Rover Sport, with the paintwork given a new lease of life while retaining as much of its original integrity as possible. ❤️‍🔥

There’s nothing quite like that feeling of a brand-new vehicle… and this stunning Toyota Hilux Double-Cab was brought to us to make sure that feeling lasts a little longer. 😎

While it may be brand new, that doesn’t necessarily mean the paintwork is perfectly clean or ready for protection. Vehicles can pick up all sorts of contamination during manufacture, transport, storage and delivery — so the first step is always proper preparation.

We carried out a thorough decontamination process to safely remove the contaminants that washing alone can't shift, leaving the paintwork genuinely clean and ready for the next stage. 👌

From there, we carried out an enhancement machine polish, gently refining the paintwork to improve its gloss, clarity and depth while addressing those light imperfections that can be present even on a new vehicle. ✨

And finally, with the paintwork properly prepared, we installed a CQuartz Ceramic Coating to give this Hilux a durable protective layer and make keeping that fresh finish looking its best much easier. 🛡️💎

It's all about doing things in the right order — clean it properly, refine it properly, then protect it properly.

The result is one seriously glossy Hilux that's now ready to hit the road looking its best! 🔥

Now this is one seriously stunning motorcycle! 😍

We recently had the pleasure of carrying out some detailing work on this 2025 BMW R 12 NINET, giving both the bike and its matching BMW helmet some well-deserved attention before hitting the road.

Once the paintwork was refined, we installed CARPRO CQUARTZ Professional — our top-tier ceramic coating system — providing a durable, highly resistant protective layer while enhancing the gloss, depth and clarity of that beautiful BMW finish. 🛡️✨

And because we're firm believers in protecting the whole package, the matching BMW helmet received the same treatment too. 👌

The coating was then infrared cured to assist with the curing process and ensure the installation was finished to the highest possible standard.

Ceramic coating isn't just about making something shiny — it's about creating a protective barrier against environmental contamination, making future maintenance easier and helping keep that freshly detailed appearance around for longer. 💎
