From Kansai Service comes the heart of the build—a 2.8L HKS Step 1 RB28 stroker, designed for devastating mid-range torque and rapid-spooling power delivery thanks to HKS V-Cam Step 1 and GT-3SS twin turbos. Every critical component has been addressed: HKS R-Type intercooler, S-Type oil cooler, Sard aluminum radiator, Nismo surge tank, upgraded fueling, and a precisely tuned HKS F-Con V-Pro. The Getrag V160 transmission was overhauled in-house, ensuring bulletproof drivetrain performance. Suspension geometry is refined with HKS Hipermax IV GT coilovers, Nismo rear A-arms, and Spoon rigid collars, while an HKS 6-piston / 4-piston brake system delivers race-level stopping power.
Garage Yoshida’s work elevates this GT-R to another realm. Known for their obsessive restoration standards, they executed a full glass-out body restoration, respraying the car in deep Toyota (202) Black—a color famously associated with high-end Japanese restomods. The process included strut tower replacement, full engine bay refinishing, and undercarriage chassis repaint, all documented in their official project archive. Exterior details include genuine Nismo Z-tune bumper, fenders, side skirts, and rear spats, paired with 19-inch Yokohama Advan GT wheels.
Inside, the focus is on purposeful refinement—Nismo upgraded Multi-Function Display, Kansai Service Refresh Bar for added rigidity, and an otherwise original layout that honors the GT-R’s driver-focused DNA.
