🗺️ Change of areas covered 🗺️

🏡 We have lived here for nearly 5 months already and still absolutely love it.

🚙 As we have got to know the area better we have realised that we are trying to cover too much and so we have needed to adjust this.

📍With immediate effect we now cover Market Rasen, Wragby, Horncastle, Louth, Brookenby, Binbrook, Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Caistor and the surrounding villages of these areas.

🚙 Over the weekend we attended the annual National Conference for Driving Instructors (I promise it wasn’t boring!)

🎉 We bumped into Paul, Gemma and Sarah, the family who own and run our franchise, LDC Learner Driving Centre - driving schools

🗣️We attended multiple talks about how to manage our business, support our students that have ADHD and deliver even better driving lessons.

💡We also had time to network, meet others in the industry and visit business stands to learn more about what there is to support us and our students.

Autumn's here and with it comes more rain. ☔

Before the next downpour catches you out, brush up on your wet weather driving skills.

Remember to:

✅ Keep well back from the vehicle in front.

✅ Ease off the accelerator and slow down gradually if the steering becomes unresponsive.

✅ Watch out for any spilt diesel.

✅ Take extra care around pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and horse riders.

👀 Some really important advice from Lincolnshire Police ⬇️

❗ In 2023, 82 collisions involving motorbikes resulted in death or serious injury. In 2024, it was 88 and in 2025 it rose to 102.

It’s everyone’s responsibility to help bring the number of road traffic collisions down.

For riders this is about:
➡️ Preparation – ensuring your bike is in good condition.
➡️ Equipment – check protective gear is suitable and wear approved protective gear.
➡️ Awareness – of surrounding areas, other vehicles, and road conditions.
➡️ Riding Positioning – maintain a proper riding position for maximum visibility and control.
➡️ Speed – manage your speed to the conditions to the road and avoid excessive speed.
➡️ Road Positioning – ride in a position that allows you to react to changing road condition and traffic.

For drivers this is about:
✅ Looking twice
✅ Giving space
✅ Signalling early
✅ Always being mindful of the -

🚜 Driving in the countryside can present its own challenges so it’s important to remain vigilant.

🐎 As well as wildlife suddenly appearing to dash across the road, it’s very common to come across people riding horses.

🚙 It’s vital you slow right down, keep back and pass wide and slow. Spooking a horse can have catastrophic consequences for all involved. Please be patient.

INTENSIVE DRIVING COURSES
Say goodbye to never ending hourly weekly lessons and say hello to an LDC intensive driving course - the faster, smarter way to learn to drive.

According to the DVSA's (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency's) last major national survey of people learning to drive they purchased on average 52 hours of professional tuition each and in addition took a further 19 hours of practice on average with family members or friends. Therefore in the UK people learning to drive take on average 71 hours of tuition. With an LDC intensive driving course using my coaching skills and the unique LD System this figure is more likely to be closer to 30 hours rather than the national average of 52 hours. This potentially represents a big saving.

I provide a range of intensive driving courses varying from 6 to 40 hours. If you have a driving test booked and need to learn to drive fast, choose a course to best suit your needs. Each one of the intensive driving courses shown includes:
