Gas Locker Installation
Recently installed a gas locker in a campervan compliant with safety standards EN 1949 for storage of LPG. Regulatory gas lockers are designed to provide a safe enclosure for the gas cylinder and to contain any leaks, preventing the gas from posing a danger to the occupants in the vehicle.

Gas cylinders in leisure vehicles must always be upright when in use.....NEVER place a cylinder on its side. (Information available on internet regarding the reasons why).

First photo shows the locker with gas cylinder firmly secured.
The second photo taken from underneath the vehicle, shows the bolts firmly securing the gas locker and also, the gas drop point which is designed to allow leaking gas to exit out of the floor of the vehicle. (LPG - propane/butane is heavier than air and will exit downwards).
Third photo shows the gas locker with door fitted.

Damaged Brake Disc
A broken brake disc as shown on left of photo, can cause brakes to fail or the wheel to lock. In comparison to the new disc on the right you can see why these are a possibility.
Any issues with your vehicle's brakes, such as noisy, uneven braking (vehicle pulling to one side), and/or vibration, indicates a problem.

Wet belt change Peugeot 208
Unlike a 'dry' timing belt, a wet belt is submerged in engine oil. As the belt degrades it leaves deposits in the engine oil. This can result in the oil strainer in the sump becoming blocked preventing the oil circulating around the engine and ultimately causing engine seizure. Because of the structure of the engines with wet belts, it's virtually impossible to inspect the belt for wear/damage. This is why it's vital to change a wet belt according to manufacturer's recommendation.

Peugeot 2008 Passenger window electrical fault repair.
Upon investigation, I traced the fault to broken wires in the driver's door wiring loom. To carry out an effective repair, the loom had to be removed from the door (photo 1). The broken wires were easily identified (photo 2). The damaged wires were cut back and replaced with new wiring (photo 3) enabling the passenger window to open and close.

Installation of Exterior Lamp on a Motorhome

The process involved identifying a suitable 12 volt power feed using a multimeter, drilling a hole for the lamp wires to be threaded through to the inside, fitting and wiring in the lamp switch on an internal panel (connecting it to the suitable power feed), then wiring the switch to the lamp feeding it through the new conduit. The 'wiring in' from the power feed required an in-line fuse to be fitted, which is standard safety practice when wiring a new electrical circuit.
