First rally of 2025 for us today, the Malcolm Wilson rally.
John Woodward and Kevin Ikin taking part in the modern Honda powered es**rt seeded at 145 and running 30th on the road due to running in reverse order. Steady day ahead with this being John’s first event on gravel in 15 years.

Mull rally 2024…

The team entered 4 cars again this year and it was an achievement to even make the start this year, with 2 of the 4 cars without engines 2 weeks prior to the event!! The team pulled out all the stops to get everything ready with many late nights and long hours.. but we were ready.

The rally…
Seeded at car 51 Andy Woodward/Harry Stubbs had great rally time spent prior to the event, perfecting pacenotes had really paid off with the pair having a relatively problem free run, other than a misfire on the long one finishing in a amazing 16th overall and 4th in class👍🏼

Seeded at car 65 Chris Woodward/James Campbell Rallying Chris had a very stressful run up to the rally with having to replace the engine in the Clio, then usual navigator Josh Beer having to shoot home before the event saw James jump in for the event at last minute! Chris and James worked well from the off and were lying 30th overall and 9th in class heading out of the final service, but they wouldn’t see the end as driveshaft failure with 2 stages to go ended their rally.

Seeded at car 81 Ian Woodward/Owen Paterson- This year saw Ian with new navigator Owen patterson. This was Owen’s first mull rally but he was in safe hands with Ian.
The pair quickly gelled and set off to a near trouble free rally, until the final stage where they lost the clutch leaving them to do the whole final stage without it and having to push the car over the final control well done lads 👊🏻
A great finish once again ending up 50th overall and 16th in class.

Seeded car 87 John Woodward/Kevin Ikin Mull regulars since the 90s, John brought the historic up again, with the fresh engine that had only been fitted the week before.
The pair went well, never outside the top 4 in class all event a double puncture on stage 15 meant they had to stop and change them dropping them down the order, but they got to regroup before the final service and the car cried no more with an electrical fault, so rally over for them, gutted!

Big thanks to the team of lads that come to help service and look after the vehicles and drivers over the weekend! Once again some torrential weather, you guys know who you are and we couldn’t do it without you.

Everyone involved in the Mull Rally keep doing what you are doing, the event is one of the best rallies in the world and we will be back every year to support it and do this fabulous event.

Finally Mull residents and the frends we have on Mull you make the event the special occasion it is, thanks for accommodating us year after year 😊 your enthusiasm for the event is what makes it so special and like no other event, thank you!!🤩
