Fresh in at OCM HQ 🔴
Take a look at this RED Ford Fiesta ST180 that rolled up looking for a little more bite. 🦈

🚗💥 A Fiesta ST180…. From misfire nightmare to full transformation.

This one came to us from Norwich with a horrendous misfire. When we carried out a full vehicle health check, the first thing we noticed was a strong smell of fuel under the bonnet.

⚠️ Upon removing the ignition coils, we realised how lucky the customer was, there was a large amount of fuel in the cylinder head chambers. With spark-induced misfires in play, this could have ended very badly.

The car had upgraded injectors and mapping from a previous tuner, but the fuel leak was clearly coming from the injector fuel rail seals. When we removed the rail and injectors, we found split O-rings, more likely down to poor installation.

🔧 While we were in there:

Replaced leaking rocker cover gasket.

New fuel-side injector seals, clips, spacers + Teflon double seals on the combustion side.

Spark plugs were cracked and in poor condition – swapped for NGK Iridium 1-step colder, gapped for big boost.

Compression test? All excellent ✅
Still misfiring after a road test – replacement coils cured it completely.

But that wasn’t all…

We also found:

Leaking front crank oil seal… A questionable super glue repair on the intake manifold (replaced with a good used part)

Since the crank seal needed timing belt removal, we did the full timing belt + water pump.

New Vibratechnics engine mount.

Replacement recall-type header tank.

Finished the engine side with an oil & filter change, pollen filter, and a gearbox oil change with Millers oil for extra peace of mind.

🛠️ Then onto the rest of the car:

Worn lower ball joints → new lower suspension arms with Whiteline & Powerflex bushes.

Powerflex rear axle bushes.

New 280mm rear discs, pads & calipers + brake fluid flush.

Full wheel alignment.

After road testing and data logging, fuel trims were all over the place. The injector scaling hadn’t been adjusted for the larger injectors. Simple fix, we moved the car over to our software from and completely transformed the drivability.

👏 Thank you for trusting us to get your car sorted. This was a big one, but we got there.

This Ford Fiesta MK8 ST came in with a coolant loss issue and no external leaks in sight. After a pressure test and inspection, we uncovered a cracked cylinder head!

The fix? A complete engine replacement and alongside we added a full genuine Ford parts service, and a new GPF pressure sensor to bring everything back to spec.
Cooling system bled, pressures verified, and it’s driving exactly as it should again.

Just look at this absolute mint MK1 Ford Es**rt RS2000 that dropped into OCM HQ recently. 😍 That colour really pops, and we love how original it is! The job itself wasn’t huge, but it’s all in the details. We carried out a tracking setup on the ramp and sorted that steering wheel to sit perfectly centre.

Sleeper ST180 gets the surprise of its life! 😲

This Fiesta came in for a routine health check, but we uncovered a secret: a hidden hybrid turbo was already lurking under the hood! 🐌💨

The plot twist? A dealer recall had accidentally wiped its tuned map, leaving it asleep at the wheel. We fixed the MOT-failing downpipe with a new Milltek sports cat and then unleashed the beast with a proper Stage 3 tune from MSD.

Consider this ST180 officially WOKE. ✅
