Grouse Hill Caravan Park Grouse Hill Caravan, Camping & Glamping Park near Whitby, in the North York Moors National Park. Open from mid-March to mid-October each year.

Situated within the North York Moors National Park, we have camping and tourer pitches, glamping cabins and seasonal pitches. Close to Whitby, Scarborough, Robin Hood's Bay and Boggle Hole, our site is located on a south facing terraced slope. We are surrounded by woodland with views of heather covered moorland. We offer a tranquil place to relax, unwind and meet new friends. With good facilities

including three toilet and shower blocks, a large children's play area, a football field for the kids, an onsite shop and reception, access to WiFi, and with numerous walks nearby, Grouse Hill is perfect for families, couples and solo travelers. We are within a ten minute walk of a pub, bus stops, a petrol station, and we are just a few minutes away from the main Scarborough to Whitby road. Our accommodation includes Big Chief glamping cabins, Running Water glamping cabins, grass pitches with electric, a holiday home and a holiday cottage.

Review from 3 Sep 2026: Static caravan stay, five stars
We stayed here for a short break in the static caravan. Weve always stayed in the wigwams, (which are great for that camping experience but with alot more comfort) but the caravan was another level. Really clean on arrival, decorated nicely and it has amazing views all round. Patio doors lead onto the decking area so you have somewhere nice to sit and enjoy the views! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and we will definitely be returning in the future. Check in was easy too and the owners were really pleasant and friendly. It really is a wonderful place to relax.

We are open until October 2026, folks, so please come and join us!

Some really sad news.
As we all remember Albert Noble with much love & affection, he did a lot for us with the WiFi connection here at Grouse Hill. Condolences to his family & friend. Certainly missed x

Passed away unexpectedly at home on the 5th August, aged 69 years.
Treasured Husband to Elaine.
A cherished Dad to Mandy, Sarah, Claire, Tim and Andrew and Stepdad to Emily, Charlotte and Amy.
An adored Brother to Edna, Dennis and Ron.
Precious Grandad to Sammi, Charlie and Alex and Step-Grandad to Amber, Felicity, Josh, Owen, Chloe, Ash and Ruqui.
Loving Uncle to Julie, Joanne, Nikki and Mike and a friend to many.
He will be sadly missed.
Funeral will be held on Thursday 3rd September at 2pm in Woodlands Crematorium.
No flowers please, but if desired, donations will be gratefully received by the Aortic Centre Trust.
Following the service, you are welcome to join Albert's family at Fylingdales Village Hall for refreshments.

Thank you to Becks veterinary practice for taking her on, to undertake her Vet Nursing qualification, where she will study at Askham Bryan College. We’re all super proud.
