I’ve just spent the weekend driving one of these. Absolutely fantastic. It has everything, the looks, styling, noise and power but with power comes calm control. It’s the school run on one hand but drop the kids off and the commute has never been so much fun. You have to watch it though, these cars are brutally fast. I like the handling too, rarely do I use the adaptive suspension buttons on Astons but on the Superlegerra it really made a difference at speed. Tyres are crucial, branding and pressures and I mean crucial. What a car!

Not our usual content but I had to mention who recently helped me out massively. They provided a wonderful service to collect, fix her up and deliver her back in a flash. Elena was super helpful and was constantly in touch. They will be my go to. Very trustworthy.

I love our Citroen Mehari. If you have never had the pleasure I can’t begin to tell you wonderful these things are. Look them up if you don’t know but in a nutshell shell they weigh just over 500 kilos and are based on a 2CV and Dyane. I think the name Mehari is actually named after a Camel but don’t quote me.
They aren’t rare if you live in the South of France or Spain, clearly hopeless in the wet/cold weather but in the sunshine when you step off the beach there is nothing better. They do have a fascinating history including being designed by a WW2 ace, having a 4x4 variant and being used by the French military not to mention being a very cool car indeed.

4th race of the year and my third in the poring rain. The good news is it’s great experience. The bad news is I need four wheel drive and wet weather tyres. Managed a personal best lap time at Oulton this weekend and at Donington for the historic, it’s good to see improvement. Thanks as always to and to for the amazing photos.
