It’s an exciting time to join Volvo Trucks. Our latest innovation, the Volvo FH Aero, has secured the 2025 Green Truck Award and been named Truck of the Year at the Export & Freight Transport & Logistics Awards. 🚛

As an Alternative Fuels Product Quality Engineer, you will represent Customer Support within Service Market in relation to alternative fuel-powered trucks. Acting as a bridge between the UK dealer network and global technical teams, you will help ensure product quality issues are identified, understood and resolved quickly.

You will come from a commercial vehicle workshop environment and be a technically capable professional who enjoys solving problems and helping others understand complex information.

Who are you?
▶️ NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
▶️ Extensive experience working in a busy commercial vehicle workshop environment
▶️ IMI Level 3 Electromobility qualification would be advantageous
▶️ In-depth technical knowledge of truck systems and diagnostics
▶️ Hold an LGV Class 2 driving licence (Cat C)

You will be at the heart of our customer support network. Whether a vehicle is in the UK or beyond, you will take ownership of breakdowns and repairs, giving customers peace of mind and ensuring every situation is handled efficiently and professionally. 🚛

➡️ Location: Warwick, with one day a week working from home. (Training in Rugby, before the team relocates to Warwick.)

➡️ Salary: £31,402 (This includes 12% shift allowance, Basic: £28,038 per annum)

➡️ Four-week shift rotation

Week 1: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (Mon–Fri), 11:30 AM–8:00 PM (Sun)
Week 2: 11:30 AM–8:00 PM (Mon–Thu)
Week 3: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat)
Week 4: 12:00 PM–8:30 PM (Mon–Fri)

You will report directly to the Customer Support Manager and work closely with a large team of UK and European Operations Coordinators who can provide guidance and advice.

Full training is provided on all Volvo systems and ways of working.
