NO RESERVE | Bought in 1955, this 1953 Vincent Black Shadow Series C became its owner’s everyday motorcycle and part of his courting days. After marriage, it was put into storage, but remained in his ownership.

When he moved house in the early 1990s, the Vincent came too, taking its place in a wooden shelter at the bottom of his new garden. It remained there until 8 October 2026, when the shelter was dismantled and this remarkably original, unrestored motorcycle saw daylight again.

Now, after 71 years with one owner and around 66 years in storage, it is offered without reserve at our Classic Motorcycle & Vintage Scooter Auction.

A sports bike shaped in the wind tunnel and a scooter with a roof: this was BMW’s vision of the future.

The 1989 BMW K1 paired BMW’s first 16-valve production motorcycle engine with aerodynamic bodywork and advanced anti-lock braking. Its distinctive shape served a purpose, helping it achieve a claimed top speed of around 150 mph from just 100 hp.

The 2000 BMW C1 approached innovation from a different direction, combining the convenience of a scooter with a protective safety cell, roof and seat belts. Designed by BMW and built in Italy by Bertone, the firm whose design studio created the Lamborghini Countach, it offered an unusual answer to the daily commute.

The first owner of this 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Sports Saloon was Peter Hugh Manners Wood, a British intelligence officer who worked on interpreting decoded Enigma messages during the Second World War.

Now offered after more than 56 years with its current owner, it retains its original interior and factory coachwork, with matching numbers and a ZF five-speed gearbox.
