At Caristocrat Mechanical Garage, We’re taking action to keep our customers and mechanics safe during the current outbreak of COVID-19. These are uncertain times and events are changing by the day. As part of our planning we have put contingencies in place to make our car repair service even safer and more convenient.
We are offering a "contact-free" key exchange and service, to aid with the government recommended social distancing. What this means in practice is that any booking placed with us will be “contact-free”, and your mechanic will accommodate your request.
In practice a “contact-free” service will look as follows:
we’re taking action to keep our customers and mechanics safe during the current outbreak of COVID-19.
* You place a booking on Facebook or through our phone line.
* Mechanic will call ahead of booking to arrange a “contact-free” key exchange. This will involve customers leaving their key in a safe place at the front of our garage.
* Mechanic carries out the work booked
* Mechanic delivers the vehicle back and returns the keys in a prior agreed safe place.
Further to that we urge mechanics to follow these basic guidelines to make your visit as hygienic as possible:
* Follow government guidelines, including washing hands thoroughly and using hand sanitiser
* Use disposable gloves
* Use disposable seat covers and steering wheel covers to protect car interiors
