​If you’ve been down to the play area recently, you might have noticed it looking a little brighter! We wanted to give our well-loved park a little TLC just in time for the Whitsun holidays.
​A massive shoutout and thank you to Richard Riley Carpentry, who did an absolutely incredible job. It’s been meticulously inspected, parts have been replaced, and everything has been sanded down and freshly repainted. It looks absolutely fantastic! ✨

☀️ PHEW! What a scorcher of a Bank Holiday Monday! ☀️
​While everyone else was soaking up the sun, this incredible team was absolute rockstars. In sweltering heat, they worked tirelessly to get every single caravan sparkling clean and ready for our guests here at Llanrhidian holiday park on the stunning Gower Peninsula. 🧼✨
​Just look at them in reception at the end of the day—absolutely melted, hot, and bothered, but still smiling! 😂🥵

The sun is officially shining, and we are looking at a beautiful, warm half term ahead! It is the perfect excuse to get down to the The Purple Badger Llanrhidian and soak up the sunshine.

Alongside the great weather, we have some fantastic treats lined up for families. The bouncy castle is out and we are serving up a breakfast daily (10:00am – 11:30am).

We also have a variety of entertainment scheduled throughout the week—including kids' clubs, live music, and quiz nights on select dates. Be sure to check out the schedule below to see exactly what’s on and when so you don't miss out! Please check our app or Badger page for further details.

​Bring the kids down to The Badger tomorrow from 6:00 PM for our Monday Movie Night. They get to lounge on comfy inflatable sofas and watch a film on the big screen, while you get some time to relax.
​All for just £7.50 per child, including:

🐾 WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY! 🐾
​A massive thank you to everyone who joined us at Llanrhidian Holiday Park today for our Charity Dog Fun Agility Day! Despite the weather trying to dampen things, the community spirit was absolutely shining. 🌧️✨
​We had over 40 amazing dogs sign up and strut their stuff—every single one of them was a superstar, and we loved handing out all those well-deserved rosettes! 🏅🐕
​A few special shout-outs are in order:
Pam! - a huge thank you and well done for orchestating the whole event, you are amazing!
​Our amazing Judge: Thank you for joining us to keep us all in check! We hope you enjoy your flowers and chocolates. 💐🍫
​Our Stallholders & Entertainment: Thank you to the musician for the great tunes, and all our wonderful stallholders—including Silvio, our legendary ice cream man! 🍦🎶
​Most importantly, thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, and donated. Because of your generosity, we’ve raised a fantastic amount for charity. We have the best community around!

​Check out this amazing Fun Charity Dog Show happening on Saturday 16th May 2026, over at Llanrhidian Holiday Park
🐶 It looks like it’s going to be a paws-itively fantastic day out for the whole family!
​With 10 fun classes, an agility course, stalls, bouncy castles for the kids, and plenty of entertainment, there's something for everyone – two-legged and four-legged alike! And best of all, it's all in aid of two wonderful causes: the Old Mill Cancer Support Foundation and the Woodfield Animal Sanctuary. ❤️
​Make sure to mark your calendars, grab your furry best friend, and head down for a day of fun and fundraising! The show starts at 1pm, so get there early for registration! 🦴
