Although, if you’ve ever been in Washington at rush hour, you’ll know that’s nothing compared to some of the things I’ve seen behind the wheel! 😂🚗

🎉🚗 BOOM! FIRST-TIME PASS FOR LYDIA! 🚗🎉
Amazing result for an amazing person! ❤️
Lydia, I am BEYOND proud of you! 🥹👏

The dreaded demon theory could so easily have knocked your confidence and, if I’m honest, there was a point when I thought you might throw the towel in. But you dug deep, found your fight, and proved to yourself what you’re capable of! 💪

Then came THAT phone call… and I just knew this was it! 😎

Fast forward five weeks… I disappeared off to Italy 🇮🇹🍷, came back, and we cracked on. And today? BOOM! FIRST-TIME PASS! 🥳🙌

And the best bit? Fewer hours than Michael! 😉😂 Sorry Michael, but we couldn’t let that little statistic go unnoticed! 🤣

Now, as a hairdresser, you can officially swap the dual carriageways for the salon, the steering wheel for the scissors, and let’s hope Sparkles 🐶 doesn’t demand a lift everywhere now that Mum’s got her licence! 😂🐾

My new office… 🇮🇹🛫🍷

Happily reporting that the car is parked up and staying firmly where it is. 🚗😂

I’ve truly deserved this break… and judging by my new office, I think I’ve found the perfect place to recover from the trauma of being a driving instructor. 😉😂

No pupils.
No roundabouts.
No clutch control.
No “can we just do that one more time?”

Just sunshine, 🍷🍝 good food and absolutely nowhere I need to be. 😎🇮🇹

I actually don’t think you ever truly believed we were saying goodbye! You were probably expecting me to turn up next week like, “Right Megan, where are we off to today?” 😂😂

Hope it’s finally sunk in now that YOU ACTUALLY PASSED and you’re nipping your ma and Nana around town, living your absolute best life and loving the dream! 🚗💨

Well done Megan!! 🥳🥳 It was totally worth giving up my Sunday nap to take you on your test… although I’d like it noted that this was a HUGE personal sacrifice on my part. 😂😂

And now the serious issue…

HOW THE HELL IS MY DIARY GOING TO WORK?! 😭😂

I’ve lost my most flexible pupil! Who am I supposed to message when I’ve got a random gap and think, “Megan will be free!” 😂😂😂

Alex Wilson, Passed her test Friday… gets out the car and doesn’t even look back. 😂 “see ya”.
You spend all this time with a pupil, they tell you their entire life story, overshare during lessons, you become their part-time therapist, comedian and driving instructor… then they get that certificate and BOOM… forgotten! 😂
Enough about Robbie Chalmers though… let’s talk about this AMAZING girl! ❤️

I’ll be 100% looking out for you on those roads. I wasn’t worried for a second when you read the result. You started by grabbing the keys and skipped out of that test centre with the examiner and the biggest smile on your face. I knew that result was going your way! 🥳🚗💨

Thank you for the absolute GREAT laughs along the way. Seriously, how we never got pulled over for noise pollution I honestly don’t know! 😂😂🎶🎶🎤😆😆

You’ve absolutely smashed it.

You’ve gone from overthinking, questioning everything and probably wondering if I’d lost the plot… to PASSING YOUR TEST AND DRIVING YOURSELF AROUND LIKE YOU OWN THE BLOODY ROAD! 🚗💨😂
I’ve genuinely loved every minute of teaching you, even the moments where I’ve sat there silently questioning my career choices. 🙈🤣
