From the day we first met, you stayed focused on your goal and put the work in. You even went out and got yourself a car so you could get those extra hours on the road. That dedication has paid off today.

Robbie Chalmers, passing your test first time today was a brilliant result!

I’m not going to lie, after your second lesson I was praying to the good Lord that one day we’d get here… especially after you broke my car! 🙄

Fair play to you though. Even after my little meltdown about needing the car fixed in time for tests, you stuck with me and continued to turn up every week. Then this week, you even blessed me with an extra three hours of your company.

As always, our conversations were an absolute blast… made up mostly of comfortable silences! 😂

I’ll genuinely miss teaching you. Unless, of course, you decide to gatecrash and convince Alex to take us both out for a chippy tea 😉🤫

Today’s result made working a Saturday completely worthwhile. The examiner gave some fantastic feedback about your drive, which is always nice to hear.

I first met Codie Harland dad during the pandemic, and since then I seem to have taught half the family, cousins, nieces, and plenty more in between!

Today, though, it was your turn. I got to take you to test, and you got yourself through it with just one minor in the first 20 seconds. Still a clean sheet in my eyes. 😉

Codie, it’s been an absolute pleasure teaching you. I never even had to bring out my “tough love” methods because you were always far harder on yourself than I ever could be.

I think the drive home was when it finally started to sink in. You’re now legally allowed to drive without me sitting beside you nagging about mirrors, blind spots, speed, and absolutely everything else! 😂
Good luck with all your plans. Keep up the manifesting because it genuinely seems to work for you.

The examiner gave some great feedback too. Although I did roll my eyes when she apologised for being back late because, once again, you got lost! 🙄😂

🚗 DVSA Test Booking Changes – Effective Today

⚠️ Important update for driving test candidates

From today, when changing your driving test appointment, you can only move it to one of your 3 nearest test centres.

📍 If your current test centre is Sunderland, your available alternatives are likely to be:

✅ Sunderland
✅ Gateshead
✅ Gosforth
✅ Durham

This means travelling across the country to secure an earlier test date is no longer possible through the standard test change system.

I’ve had to rely on Sean more than once, and every time he’s delivered 100%. Without doubt, the best garage service I’ve used in Washington.

He always does his best to get your car back on the road within days rather than weeks, and he’s honest, reliable, and straightforward from start to finish.

A lot of the work he’s carried out for me has actually been fixing poor workmanship from other garages. His prices are fair, his quotes are honest, and there’s never any pressure or hidden surprises.

It’s a great feeling knowing your car is in safe hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sean to anyone looking for a garage they can genuinely trust. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So today, I pick this one up and she acts like it’s just another driving lesson 🙄😂

Drives to Sunderland taking the mick out of me, wanting all the gossip and laughing at other folk, all while Michael Jackson plays in the background 🎶🕺🏻

Not only does Niamh pass her driving test… she gets ZERO faults 😒👏🏻 (show off 😉) Absolutely amazing result!

Honestly so laid back it’s unreal. I asked her twice… “you do know it’s your test today?” 😂

Well done Charlie! If you had any doubt that you were more than capable of driving without me, being thrown onto a completely new test route on roads you’d never driven before should confirm what I already knew… you smashed it! 👏🏼

Aced the drive and got amazing feedback from the examiner too, couldn’t ask for more.

Thank you for the gift, perfectly timed for my trip away… although next time could you also include paracetamol for the morning after? 🤯😂😂

Will genuinely miss the banter. A true gentleman from start to finish.
