If your are looking for a large engine to enjoy with friends and family but on a budget, going for something freelance and a bit quirky could be the answer.

For under £10,000 This 7"(ish) Steam Omnibus is a great bit of fun and is a great way into the hobby. It does need a bit of work before any serious rallying, namely a new set of wheels but really the work is time rather than huge expense.

We only just picked up the 4" Burrell SCC so full details will be added shortly but it is a really nice example being the STW showroom model for many years. It was commissioned for use in 2024 so has seen minimal use. Price £22,950

This stunning engine has a few jobs left to finish off, we are selling as-is due to lack of time in the workshop but have spoken to who would be happy to take on the work if so desired by the new owner in a sensible time scale.

It's not just steam we play with...

This Westfield kit car has just had a full respray and general sort out, powered by a Suzuki Hyabusa engine it is by far the most mental thing I have ever driven! Final jobs to sort include fitting the seats, remaking the dash and full rewire.

Always makes me smile seeing this in the workshop as you couldn't get more opposite ends of the spectrum of vehicles as a hobby.
