We are super excited to be here this Saturday. Please pop along and see us as well as all the other amazing stands they will have there. Fingers crossed for some sunshine too ☀️☀️

As you may know by now it is just two days to our amazing Longfield fete (and Walk 4 Longfield)... at Hospice Burleigh Lane, 10:00am - 4:00pm

We thought it might be useful to share some information here:

We are super excited to have the following stalls and games available on the day:

6 Vintage cars
Face painting

Teddy Tombola plus the raffle to end all raffles!

There will also be lots of craft stalls, pizza, Thai food, cakes, coffee and ice cream (details to follow),

Timings on the Day
10.00am – Open for registrations for walkers
10.45am – Walker Warm Up
11.00 am – Walkers set off
11.00am – Cuthbert the Cow appearance
11.00am – 1pm B.R.A.N.D playing
1pm – 2pm Storytelling for kids and free books in partnership with Read for Good
2pm – 3pm Music Man show
3pm Cuthbert Appearance
3pm – 3.30pm B.R.A.N.D playing
3.30pm Raffle Prize Draw
4.00pm – Finishes

👋 Meet the Team – James

James has been part of AE Motorworx for 8 years, joining us back in the Olympic Cars days and growing with us every step of the way.

As our Service Valeter, he’s the one making sure every vehicle leaves us looking its best—cleaned, finished, and ready to go back to its owner. It’s all about those final touches, and James takes real pride in getting them right.

Outside of work, James enjoys a game of pool, spending time in the garden, and heading out with his family for a local pub lunch.

🚗 Meet the Team: Lawrence 🔧

Say hello to Lawrence, who’s been part of the AE Motorworx team for the past 6 months! With 7 years of experience in the motor trade, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the workshop.

Lawrence is our go-to EV specialist ⚡, keeping up with the latest in electric vehicle technology, and he’s currently working hard towards gaining his MOT license 👨‍🔧

Outside of work, you’ll likely find him out on a walk with his border collie 🐕 or getting stuck into his latest project – building a MK4 Golf track car 🏁

We had a busy one! On Sunday, AE Motorworx directors Edd and Ash attended the local Wheel Nuts Classic Car Show. 🚗

We hosted a tombola on the day, with all proceeds donated to St Rose’s School charity 💙 It was fantastic to see so many car enthusiasts come together, and even better that the weather was on our side!

🚗 Meet the Team: Joe 🔧

Joe has been a key part of the journey here at AE Motorworx, having been with us for 4 years—back when we were known as Olympic Cars.

With an impressive 17 years in the motor industry, Joe brings a wealth of experience to the workshop. As our Workshop Foreman, Diagnostic Technician, and MOT Tester, he plays a crucial role in keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring every vehicle leaves us at its best.

But Joe’s talents don’t stop in the workshop—he’s also the creative mind behind all of our social media design and images 📸

When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find Joe enjoying the outdoors, camping with his family in his T5 camper 🚐

🔧 Meet the Team – Rob 🔧

Rob has been a key part of our workshop for the past 3.5 years, originally starting with Olympic Cars. When we transitioned to AE Motorworx, Rob continued his journey with us as a Service Technician—and we’re glad he did!

He plays a vital role in keeping our customers safely on the road, carrying out all aspects of vehicle servicing, including brakes, tyres, and full vehicle health checks. His attention to detail and hands-on expertise make him a trusted member of the team.

Outside of work, Rob is a proud single parent of 16 years. In his spare time, he enjoys playing pool, listening to music, and getting involved in extreme sports.
