Well August …….. THAT is a wrap !!!

What a FANTASTIC month of business both in Car Sales & workshop productivity 🤩

However !!! ……. as a result of the amount of sales and despite having taken a few lovely trade ins, (some of which are already sold too !) - we are WELL down on stock on display now and need to purchase 8-10 more cars …… we’re already on it, but be patient with us please 🙏 .

Well, thanks to you - our FANTASTIC customers, it would be fair to say that we are having a very good August !!

Well, that’s been a good week - workshop booked to capacity constantly (and beyond !) and car sales flowing along very nicely …….. LOTS of new cars arriving this coming week including a 3 year old Nissan Juke automatic HEV with only 2’500 miles - keep an eye out for pics 👀

Oh, and the schools go back next week 🥳🥳

Instead of our usual Car Sales or Workshop Posts, we thought that for a change we’d highlight some of what we do and the associated costs of attempting to make us as Environmentally Responsible in how our small business deals with its waste.

Although constantly reviewing & improving, we currently separate and arrange specialist uplift and disposal of oil & fuel filters, waste oils, brake fluid, coolant, paper materials, metal, tyres, plastics & a few other bits and pieces - we use various companies for our own local authority through to companies from Scotlands Central Belt and North of England …… but at what cost ??

Purely just for information and to highlight some of what businesses face, we’ve attached here 3 images of Invoices received this month (July 2026) covering some of what we do - there’s more ! For clarity, we don’t get all theses invoices every month, but on rotation, along with others - we average around £500 p/m in Environmental Waste Control - not insignificant but simply the price that has to be paid if we’re going to help do our bit to help protect our planet 🌍

Anyway - enough about rubbish …. hope the forecasted rain stays away and you all have a lovely weekend 😃
