NOTICE is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 03/02/2026 intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Baswich Lane in Stafford between the junctions with Weeping Cross and Shipston Road, including the junctions to Sandringham Road, Brendon Close, Porlock Avenue, Chartwell Road, Baswich Crescent, Balmoral Road, Farmdown Road and Danta Way unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works; or unless the vehicle requires access to properties on the length of road, HGV access to Tilcon Avenue or is being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
The order will come into operation on 6th February 2026 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27th March 2026.
