Welp then some have already seen it but our Germany trip didn’t go to plan to sum it all up we Fu**ed it….

We have done 52 laps so far this year with a engine running a tad low compression and few cracked liners and guess what no no the engine is mint the gearbox left the chat taking the clutch with it 😒

Turns out racing the big bois in the porches and beamers ain’t good for the car after all

So what went wrong - Well the gearbox 😂 turns out s**t happens just gotta get on with it

Mr Murray Edwards to the rescue because he decided not to come this time but I dragged him out thanks once again for saving the lads

No hanging around new clutch & l*d gearbox fitted ready to go again

So with that being said
Who wants to go out to the ring this weekend or is there any track days on anywhere

Well, this was a fun phone call ……

Hello mate I’ve got noise coming from my timing belt area, yeah no worries let’s get it in and get it sorted

2 days later….…. (In the voice of SpongeBob) hello mate I’m going Ford fair on the weekend any chance of an engine replacement 😳

Yes, that’s right not the call you want from a good customer few days before Ford fair…

But challenge accepted, new engine supplied and fitted, with one long late night last night, big thanks to the team who stayed to get it finished and ready in time 💪

So what happened, well very odd one as this car had a replacement water pump and belt around 10k ish miles ago but unfortunately, the water pump had seized up causing the belt and timing to jump. Now we originally would of torn this engine down and rebuild after a failure like this but with a tight deadline this wasn’t an option for mr Tyler

As per, a massive shout out to Murray for stopping on the way back from collecting our next beauty (stock soon to come) to pick up Tyler’s

And of course, thanks to colleagues who stayed to help out 💪💪
