JOB OPPORTUNITY: ADMINISTATIVE ASSISTANT, IT, BOOKKEEPING, MARKETING.
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant with IT skills to join our small business based just outside Avonwick, TQ10.
Transport is essential as we are in a rural location with no public transport. We sell Camping Equipment. The duties would include managing orders coming in on various sales platforms, booking in orders with couriers and packaging for dispatch, checking and responding to emails as you get to know the business better, filing and entering paperwork on the Xero Accountancy package (training will be given but the ideal candidate would have knowledge of this or other similar programs). Other IT roles will include basic use of Excel, creating Email and Social Media Marketing and adding content to the Wordpress based website (don't worry if you have not got experience of all of these aspects as training will be given but the ideal candidate will be able to learn new IT skills swiftly).
The ideal applicant will be reliable, friendly, accurate and diligent with a keen eye for detail and be competent with computer skills. We are also a small-holding so have the odd chicken or pig wandering around so someone happy with animals is a bonus (Don't worry we won't get you mucking out!).
We can be quite flexible with when you work, 2-4 days with hours between 9 am to 5.30pm but if you need to fit in other things, we could spread the hours over 3, 4 or even 5 days. We are aiming for this to become a Permanent position but you would be employed on an initial temporary trial for 3 months to begin with.
