At Vintage Volksweddings we provide a premium wedding-car service using our:

• VW Beetle (chauffeur-driven, ideal for a bride and groom), and
• VW Split-Screen Campervan (chauffeur-driven, accommodating 7 passengers, making it ideal for the bridesmaids, the best man and others)

These timeless classics both exhibit a wonderful combination of simplicity, style and class. Yet they’re also both fun,

possessing far more character and novelty-value than modern limousines. And both vehicles have long associations with passion (think of the Love Bug and 1967, the year when both of these were built, the year that has long since passed into folklore as the Summer of Love!)

This morning saw the sun come out, and the ground actually became dry! It's been a very soggy few months, so this was a great opportunity to give the cars a run to warm them up for the fast approaching spring weddings!

This is our 1967 vw split-screen campervan 'Harry', waiting outside a church after dropping off the bridal party. When the 'I do's' had been said, and some photos had been taken, we took the bride and groom to their reception venue down the road. We think you'd look cool travelling in this vehicle. Your wedding guests would probably think the same. 😉

Blimey! Look at Jodie and Simon getting all smoochy. Anyone would think they'd just tied the knot! Wait, they had just tied the knot - at no less!

For this wedding we did a few runs from the hotel - the groom and groomsmen, bridal party, then bride, father of the bride + two children. Hiring one of our split-screen vw campervans is ideal for something like this, as you can fit quite a few passengers in!

Talking of fitting people in - if you're looking for a wedding venue, The Chimney House is a fabulous building ideal for intimate ceremonies of up to 50 guests. Of course, you can have your reception here too, but don't worry if you've got bigger numbers for your evening party, their sister venue, , can hold 200+, and it's only round the corner!

Jodie and Simon had their reception at The Mowbray. So whilst they were having some post-ceremony snaps, we ran a few guests round who might have struggled with the 0.4 mile walk in their high heels!

We had an amazing year driving brides, grooms and wedding parties in 2025 - our busiest year yet. Which is quite something to say we've been transporting newlyweds for 13 years now!
