Before: Googled tyre fitting near me, clicked the first result, got quoted £180 for two tyres.

After: Called Tinsley's instead. Paid less. Done same day.

The big chains spend millions on ads so they show up first. That doesn't mean they're the best deal - it means they have the biggest marketing budget.

We're right here in St. Helens. We're cheaper. And we're one tap away.

St. Helens drivers have been coming to us for years - and most of them found us the same way.

A friend said: "Don't go there. Go to Tinsley's."

That's it. That's the whole story.

Cheaper prices, no upsell nonsense, and you're talking to someone who actually knows their stuff.

Tag a mate in St. Helens who needs new tyres. Save them the pain of a national chain quote.

A local competitor quoted my customer £160 for a single tyre last week.

Same size. Same job. We did it cheaper - and she was back on the road in under an hour.

We're local, our costs are lower, and we pass that straight to you.

If you're in St. Helens and you've been paying another local garage prices, you're paying too much.

Give us a call before you book anywhere else. Link in the first comment.

🚗🌧️ OCTOBER IS TYRE SAFETY MONTH
DON’T WAIT UNTIL YOUR TYRES REACH THE LEGAL LIMIT.

When roads are wet, tyre tread matters.
In the UK, the legal minimum tread depth for cars is 1.6mm. But as the reference graphic highlights, braking performance on wet roads can be significantly affected as tread wears down.
🛞 3mm tread — considerably more tread available to disperse water.
⚠️ 1.6mm tread — the legal limit, with less tread available to clear water from the road.

The result? Potentially longer stopping distances when braking in the wet.
And remember, tyre safety isn't just about tread depth. Check your:

✅ Tyre pressure
✅ Tread depth
✅ Sidewalls for damage
✅ Uneven wear
✅ Overall tyre condition
🌧️ With autumn bringing more rain and wetter roads, now is a good time to get your tyres checked.
