Why come to us for your dashcam when a national well known company is cheaper. Well they are cheaper for a reason.
I've just gone out to a breakdown outside a branch of this national company, the very well known one with a black and orange logo.
Customer drove there, had a dashcam fitted (questionable). Once fitted, dashcam wouldn't power up, but more importantly, the car would now not start.
They've pulled the fuse for the fuel pump and replaced it in the wrong location. Fault rectified, dashcam working, and most importantly, car starting.
So, if you want a dashcam, yes we are a little more expensive. But weigh up the differences, you have someone with very little knowledge of working on vehicles attempt to do the job, and high risk of issues, or ourselves with over 34 years of working on vehicles.
This is not the first time we've had to rectify issues from this company, and it certainly won't be the last.
