Introducing the 1930 BSA Sloper! ⭐️
At nearly 100 years old, this 500cc Classic British Motorcycle is one of our Oldest Workshop Bikes!

The 1930 BSA Sloper 500cc is one of the most distinctive British motorcycles of the interwar period. It was part of the famous S-Series “Sloper” range produced from 1927 to 1935 and earned its nickname from its forward-inclined engine, which gave it a lower riding position and a more modern appearance than many contemporary motorcycles of its time period. 🕰️

The design was influential enough that other manufacturers later adopted similar inclined-engine layouts, So the Sloper was really a trendsetter! 🎉

Pass Bike team goes INTERNATIONAL 🌍❄️🌨️

Ellie (our Workshop Assistant) and two friends set out to conquer the legendary Pyrenees Adventure Country Trail (ACT) last week — a 1,200‑kilometre odyssey stretching from the wild Atlantic coast all the way to the shimmering Mediterranean Sea!

Ellie took her 28 year old Suzuki DR350, Johnnie on his KTM 350 EXCF and Kimberly on her trusty Honda CRF300 Rally. Day one, Johnnie’s wheel bearing failed on his KTM and Ellie’s mechanic training at Pass Bike kicked in! 💪

The trio hit the remote gravel, mud, sand, loose rock trails. Through climbs and drops, switch backs and streams they travelled across the Pyrenees meandering through France, Spain and Andorra.

They climbed into the high mountains, and suddenly found themselves battling deep, untouched snow at altitude. ❄️

At one point the drifts swallowed their rear wheels so completely that the group needed a full hour to crawl just half a mile — laughing, pushing, slipping, and refusing to quit!

A proper adventure by the sounds of it! Well done Ellie! 👏

Advanced Qualifications, Greater Expertise 👏

Congratulations to Jason, Jacob, Scott, Moe and lan for smashing the qualifications required to teach by the DVSA. Every instructor at Pass Bike has now completed our new Level 3 Motorcycle Instructor Course and is qualified in Level 3 Adult Education and Training.

Scott, Moe and lan have gone further still and have just attained the status of Certified Automotive Trainer with the Institute of the Motor Industry at our in house centre.

Certified Automotive Trainers are qualified professionals who deliver technical training and assessment, accredited by Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) this internationally recognised set of qualifications are regulated by Ofqual and the designation is held in high regard by the industry.
