Mini B36a15a chain issues, this time it wasn't actually the chain at fault, when we disassembled it we found that 1 if the camshaft phaser check valves had failed firing parts into the phaser and blowing the vanos seals on the exhaust side.
Removed everything, flushed the block, removed and inspected the oil pump and pick up for damage, replaced everything damaged and job done..

Vw Golf R, came in for front subframe upgrade to an Audi s3 aluminium replacement, we also removed the corroded rear subframe and fitted a polybushed powder coated replacement with all new suspension arms and genuine Vw bolts.
Fitted an uprated Hel performance clutch slave feed coupling and carried out 4 wheel alignment on our Hofman digital alignment setup.

Lovely Ford ranger in recently for the infamous wet belt replacement, this was only on 40k and the timing belt itself was pretty good, however the oil pump belt was showing signs of degradation...
Even from factory the timing belt cover wasn't sealed well enough to prevent some minor oil leaks.
All buttoned up and anothe happy customer.

It's been a full on few weeks, now closed until the 1st for our annual trip to santapod with the Motor Psycho AA/Fuel Altered team..
Looking forward to this and hoping for some good ¼ times..

Crazy busy start to the year, here's a few snippets of vehicles that have been worked on and returned to customers better than before..
From an Audi S4 power steering pump, mini engine rebuild, mk2 golf welding and painting the interior floor to gearbox replacement and much more..
We love such a varied work load and are always happy to work on everything and anything.

We had this lovely supercharged altezza in this week, Matthew Hicks Hickenbottom is a long standing customer and we've done a lot on this vehicle over the years. From the manual swap, without cutting the tunnel which is the normal way as the trans tunnel is different on an auto, to helping sort the supercharger install and refacing the sc clutch assembly.
Now we tubbed the rear arches for his lovely new wheels and wide body kit.
And as normal we didn't take the short way and fold and tack the inner arches to the outers, after cutting, we rolled the inners to match the outers, let them in and fully welded for a permanent weather tight seal.
Now its off to Iain Hogg at Hoggy's body shop for a full repaint.

We're happy to announce that we can now do Full 4 wheel digital laser alignment! This means that whenever you have any suspension components replaced you no longer have to take you vehicle elsewhere to ensure that its tracked right.
Along with other benefits for your track/ drift vehicles.

It's been a little but crazy leading upto the end of this year.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all new and repeat customers and wish you a merry Christmas and happy new year.
We are now closed until the 6th of January.
