📣📢 BIG NEWS 📢📣

For 32 years we’ve been proud to serve our local community, and now, after 9 very tough weeks, we’re finally back on track.

Firstly, we just want to say how grateful we are for the support, patience and kind messages we’ve received over the last few weeks since Storm Gorreti hit us hard. The encouragement from our customers and the local community has genuinely meant a huge amount to us during what has been an incredibly difficult and stressful time.

We have now had new replacement equipment installed, including a brand new Bradbury MOT ramp, BM brake roller system, Snap-on emission analyser and Snap-on wheel balancer Snap-on Tools Thank you to Tris White from Trelawney Garage Equipment for your efforts.

This means our online MOT booking system will reopen from Tuesday 17th March, and the MOT side of the business will be back up and running from that date. We expect MOT slots to fill quickly, so don’t delay, book via our website below:

This has been the most challenging period we have experienced in our 32 years of trading, but we are incredibly relieved to finally be moving back towards normal service again.

**Update**

Unfortunately, we remain closed at this time. The damage to our roof is extensive and will need replacing. Our site managers and insurers are pulling out all the stops to get us back up and running as quickly as possible, and we are doing everything we can on our side too.

We believe that all customers who were booked in for this week and next week have now been contacted. If you were due in and haven’t heard from us, please get in touch so we can discuss your options.

We would like to sincerely thank the vast majority of customers who have been kind, patient, and understanding — it really does mean more than you know during such a difficult time.

To the small number who have been less understanding, we can only say that we did not ask for a storm to damage our roof. This situation is extremely stressful and worrying for us, and we kindly ask for some compassion and understanding while we navigate circumstances completely beyond our control.

As said before, we will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so and we truly hope our customers will remain loyal and support us through this challenging period.

Thank you again to everyone who has shown patience and support — we’ll continue to keep you updated.

**UPDATE**

Following on from our post yesterday, we wanted to keep everyone updated.

Unfortunately, the storm has caused damage to our roof and the building has been assessed by an insurance assessor as unsafe to work in. For the safety of our staff and customers, we have no choice but to remain closed at this time, and we are now very much in the hands of the insurers.

At this stage, we don’t know exactly how long it will be until we can reopen, but please be assured we will be back up and running as soon as it is safe to do so. This is our absolute priority.

Over the next few days, we will be contacting customers who are booked in to discuss options and next steps with you directly.

This situation is obviously very upsetting and completely beyond our control, but we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support during this time. We will keep you updated as soon as we have any further news.

Due to storm damage, unfortunately we will be closed until further notice. If you are booked in for MOT's, services or repairs next week we will contact you later today. If your MOT is on Monday and you can make alternative arrangements please do so. We apologise but this is beyond our control.
