Wow, what a fantastic weekend at MegaCon Farnborough with Reel Icons! We'll definitely be up for that one again! This weekend we arrested apes, got a parking ticket from the Empire, got attacked by trekkies and had our picture with Superman! ❤😍

Absolutely loved it, but my feet still haven't recovered. Thank you to everyone that stopped by and much love to the 4 x serving officers who came by and said hi. Thank you all for your service! x 🚓👮🫡

Well we are finally home and tucked up under the covers after a fantastic day out to Abingdon. On approach to fuzzy towers, the car started to splutter and died halfway up the hill. The gas pedal was completely unresponsive and my brain leapt to a blown head gasket, fuel pump, jammed accelerator and a myriad other fatal ends to a rather old car.😭😱🚔

Fearing the worst I jumped out and popped the bonnet. The view to my untrained eye was what looked like a coolant leak all over the engine and perhaps indeed, the head gasket had given up the ghost. Being overly tired and exhausted from a seven day stint, I only briefly considered that it could have been a simple lack of fuel. After a hot shower and a change of clothes I fetched the fuel can from the shed, scrubbed the dirt off and then completely failed to find the plastic spout needed to use it.🤔😬

Jumping in the support vehicle (an equally elderly mondeo) I hot footed it to the petrol station, bought a new can and 4 and a bit litres of their finest unleaded. Fast forward ten minutes and Fuzzy roared into life, like nothing had happened. The look of reproach on Elizabeth's face said it all. There was no need for such scorn from a cuddly swan, but having been in thr limelight all day posing for pictures, she's undeniably realised she's the star of the show. 🦢👏❤️

Anyway, long story unshortened, we are now hoovered, cleaned and ready to go again. There was nothing at all wrong with the squad car, just simple user error 🥳😎🎉
