Complaint was intermittent no reverse gear.

It was caused by a big lump of 2nd gear that had broken off and was jamming the selector fork from moving.

2nd gear is the usual failure item on these 0BZ gearboxes used in R8 & Lamborghini.

So why would we remove a front wheel on a rear wheel drive 10 speed Ford Ranger ?

To get access to remove the catalytic converter so we can then see the bellhousing bolts to remove them.

Somebody in an office designed it like that 🤬
