Another set of forks done and back out with the Ktech treatment 👊
We set the bike up at andaluciacircuit earlier in the year 🇪🇸☀️ and followed up with some choice upgrades

An example of some forks that weren’t damping correctly, luckily the new owner of the R1 these are from felt something wrong and sent them down for checking and rebuild….

The rebound adjuster rod had been cut down for a K-tech piston kit, it appears that had been removed without thought for any future owner….
Far too short to touch the stock needle and the adjuster in the cap so zero damping

K-tech race kit installed and returned ready for its next trackday 🏍️💪

CBR 600 F3 Steelie forks and shock finished and sent out today to end the week 👊

Stanchions were bent so brand new fitted along with springs, seals and bushes. Shock got a new spring right for the riders weight. Was actually pretty clean on the outside, but the dirt in the oil is clear to see from the shim stack. Regular servicing on suspension is unfortunately overlooked until the seals no longer seal….

Much needed piston kit, springs and shock fitted to an 2023 MT09 this week…

Makes such a difference to the ride quality and the initial setting we put in was bang on the target sag 💪

Not just looking after the riders booked onto the Classic Bike Trackdays event yesterday. We had a few ride-ins including this lovely Ducati V4R 👊

Next event for us will be the CRMC - Classic Racing Motorcycle Club Pembrey round 🏍️🏁
