Helping Us Go Green: We Are Phasing Out Paper Documents
At Peverell Garage, we're dedicated to being more environmentally friendly. As part of our ongoing commitment, we're phasing out the automatic printing of MOT documents and invoices to reduce our paper consumption and environmental impact.
This change will take effect from Monday, 21st July 2025.
Why the change?
▪️Environmental Responsibility: This initiative is a key part of our effort to become a greener business by significantly cutting down on paper waste.
▪️Convenience: All MOT documents are now stored digitally by the DVSA. You can easily view and download your MOT certificate online anytime using your vehicle's registration number and the MOT test number.
▪️In line with DVSA guidelines: The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has confirmed that garages are no longer required to issue a physical MOT certificate.
What does this mean for you?
▪️You will receive a digital copy of your invoice via email or text message as soon as the job is complete.
▪️If you require a printed copy of your MOT certificate or invoice, just let a member of our team know, and we'll be happy to provide one for you.
▪️We'll also update your online service record and can email it to you if required. Rest assured, we will securely hold all your records for any future requests you may have.
Upon job completion, an invoice will be posted to you with a secure payment link. You can also make a payment via bank transfer. This helps to ease the vehicle collection process, allowing you to pay at your convenience before you arrive. Of course, you can still pay in person upon collection if you prefer.
