A great result for Reann today passing with 5 driver faults.

It was touch and go as to whether Reann was going to do the test today due to a touch of anxiety rearing it's ugly head 😢 with a little persuasion from Paula Freeman and myself we set off to have some practice. Although still very anxious we made it to the test centre. Reann said she would feel better with me sat in the back so I got to witness her confident driving and decision making first hand.

Be very, very proud of yourself Reann!! You put yourself in a situation so far out of your comfort zone and not only coped but passed!!!

A great first time pass with only 3 driver faults.

Kyla started weekly lessons in October 2024. She made really good progress in her practical learning but found the theory test challenging. While we waited for the theory test pass we dropped the weekly lessons to fortnightly and she started driving her own car. After a while Kyla felt more comfortable driving her own car than mine so she took her car to the test. On Monday, she passed. She can now take her car out independently!!

🚗🎉 Congratulations Archie!! 🎉🚗

A lovely pass today with only 4 driver faults.

Archie started lessons at the end of March 2025. He had regular weekly 1hr lessons and had an attempt at the test back in November. Unfortunately, that attempt was unsuccessful and a lesson learnt for him not to assume where cars are going at a roundabout but to be absolutely sure of where they are going! With that being his only mistake he applied for another test right away. He managed to rebook a test, but it was in May!! 6 months wait!

We continued with fortnightly lessons and we were lucky enough to swap his test for a sooner one. Roll on today!!

The Martin family is now complete ✅ 😂

My work is not only about getting people to pass tests. I also help full licence holders with confidence and updating their skills and knowledge.

This lady would only drive if she could find a route without major roundabouts or dual carriageways which obviously limited her.

Our lessons focused on planning ahead so she wouldn't stop at a roundabout when it was clear, keeping the flow smooth. Then we focused on dual carriageways, how to deal with vehicles joining from the slip road, overtaking, and joining the carriageway from the slip road.

Her aim was to visit family in Bristol over Christmas. And she did it!!!

Charlie could already drive and had had an unsuccessful attempt at the test before he sought my help. His driving was very nervous and hesitant, making him a danger of being crashed into. We worked on forward planning, which in turn, helped his confidence. We also sorted out the manoeuvres. He purchased his own car and practised. He became more and more confident in his own car and wanted to attempt the test in it. Today he passed the test with ZERO faults!!!

I'm a bit gutted that his stats won't be added to my record but I'm so pleased for him!!!

What a great start to the year! Toby passed today with just 3 driver faults.

Toby started lessons with me in May '25 with some driving knowledge. He was confident and took on my advice with ease. He had a great drive around Peterborough but nearly blew it in the test centre carpark by starting to reverse into a bay that was already occupied 🫣🤦😬 thankfully he sorted it out by starting again and choosing a different space.

Now he needs to find some time (and money 💷) to go car shopping.

An awesome ZERO fault driving test by Bella today!

Bella could already drive and, unfortunately, had an unsuccessful test before meeting me.

I assessed her driving and helped her become more confident in all aspects around Peterborough as well as ironing out a few issues. We were all ready for her test last Monday. But, on the morning, it was cancelled due to the examiner not being available. The test was rescheduled for today. Bella was as cool as a cucumber and drove beautifully.

It has been an absolute pleasure helping you Bella!

Fabulous first time pass with just 3 driver faults.

Olly started lessons in September 2024. He was anxious about learning to drive, we took things slowly and gradually built up his confidence. He definitely had the ability to pass the test with flying colours if he could keep his calm. And today he did exactly that!!!

The DVSA really need to sort out the driving test situation!! IT IS A JOKE!!

Unfortunately, I just don't think they are that bothered. All test slots get booked, they are still getting their £62 per slot so why would they care who is buying them. They say they are cracking down on who can buy them, but are they really? Just doing a 'I'm not a robot verification' before letting you enter the website IS NOT WORKING!!

Somehow people are bulk buying test slots and reselling them for extortionate prices. Which means there are no slots left, creating that supply and demand problem.

Go on the website Monday morning at 6am, you say? I have for weeks! To no avail.

So, DVSA, I can tell you how to solve this problem. It'll solve it overnight! Here it is...

MAKE THE TESTS NON-TRANSFERABLE

There you are, problem solved!

The test date can still be moved about (to obtain an earlier or later date) but the test has to remain in the same candidate's details.

If tests are non-transferable then only the people wanting to take the test will book it.

I don't know how much tax payers money you have spent trying to fix this problem but I've given you the solution for free. Over to you!!
