A new online reporting tool is now available to make reporting suspected cloned number plates quicker and easier.

You can report directly to your local police force online and the information is automatically shared with the DVLA. You can upload evidence as part of your report and receive a reference number for your records.

A cloned number plate is when criminals copy a legitimate registration number and put it on another vehicle to help hide their identity and avoid detection. If you think your vehicle's registration has been cloned, visit our website and use the new reporting tool. The information you provide could help protect you from further problems and assist police in identifying those responsible.
