Daisy (also known as breakdown 3 at Silverstone) can often be seen at the circuit. Daisy is a Series III Stage 1 V8 109" she was born on 03 November 1978.

She was first seen up at Silverstone in 1993, and has been up at the circuit ever since!

Day 2 at the Walter Hayes was a very quiet day for us. Only 1 Kart collection and no other recoveries for the day.

However as we all know every day is a school day. So today the Daisy team learnt some additional skills. Today it was, Wide load escorting, after the final race, by assisting C.C to get a wide load consisting of formula fords back to the paddock from Copse as everything was leaving the circuit with some very skillfull driving from both drivers 😉 👍.

Well that's a wrap for the 2026 season for the Daisy crew. We have to say its been a blast! and we have had a great season. Many many thanks to all the fellow Marshals, Drivers, teams,clubs, fellow recovery crews and those in race control we have had the pleasure to work with this year. We really do appreciate all your help, support, guidence and of course the banter.

Please Winter well all, and we look forward to working and seeing you all again in 2027 👍😉.

"Caught 1🤣" Day 1 at the Walter Hayes trophy meeting was a pleasent & steady day. Two Formula Ford front suspended tows, and 3 kart recoveries.

Big thanks to the SMT for their help by pushing 3 further karts into the pits to clear the track for the next session, as the trailer we were issued could only carry 1 at a time🤦‍♂️.

Excellent racing, good company and lovely weather. Lets hope for more of the same today 🙏

Great first day up at BRSCC finals weekend, busy day for us with 8 jobs today! Looking forward to anothef great day tomorrow!

Fantastic day at the Equipe Sprint for us on Saturday. A great range of cars, along with the Mini's 😁, with good grids and an excellent format. The battles in Mini races, and the tussles by the two MK2 Escorts in their races were superb, and they did nearly a full lap of the National circuit side by side........ without contact 😳.

The driving standards all day and the battles for places were exceptional by all throughout the field, with racing room and respect given and received. Some professionals could take a leaf out of these racers book.

Only 2 jobs for Daisy over the day, both due to mechanical reasons so it meant we could see most of the action 😊.

Day 2 at Sywell now completed. Stayed mainly dry for the runway action. Todays jobs 1 bike, -1 kart (a repeat satisfied customer) - 2 cars, (again with one repeat customer 🤷‍♂️) and a dragster..........yep a dragster kart (blow me they are heavy 🥵)

Many thanks to Simon and the team of marshals for help this weekend in getting the customers back as quickly as poss to try to get another run. And as always at this event the good humour, and cooperation from the drivers.

A very enjoyable weekend and a good chance to look around the show and stalls. 😉

Day 1 of complete at the Sywell Classic: Pistons & Props!

Lovely weather and a good turn out made for a excellent day, we completed 5 jobs, 2 bikes, 2 Karts and a car!

Hoping for another good day tomorrow, weather looks favorable as well!

Well what a Sunday at the one day CSCC meeting today at Silverstone. Superb weather, 5 qualifying sessions and 6 races. An absolutely superb turn out for all the grids with a very wide range of cars, including 65 cars entered and on circuit for the Swinging Sixties race.

We and the other 3 breakdowns were kept busy all day (hence no pictures today). It was a final tally of six jobs for the day for us and a big thankyou to the Marshals who whilst thin on the ground helped immensely to move the breakdowns as quickly as we could.

There was even the sight of one of the Daisy team regressing to their marshalling days and pushing.....yes pushing a car from the middle of the circuit into the gap before resorting to mechanical methods to get it back to the team 😀 .

A enjoyable if somewhat active day 👍

Excellent weather and Racing at the MSVR GB3 GB4 and GT cup meeting on the Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone this weekend.

Daisy made her contribution with 3 jobs on Sunday during a steady day. We had a couple of cars on the hook that got away on Saturday 😉, but we won't count them and great to see them straight back out again.

So good racing, good company, a small job list and good weather. As near as it comes to a perfect weekend 👍.
