🏆 DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS FOR KAD! 🏆

What a season! We’re incredibly proud to have powered our drivers to victory in both the Mini Miglia and Mini 7 Championships!

🥇 Aaron Smith – Mini Miglia Champion

Winning the highly competitive Mini Miglia Championship is a fantastic achievement. The competition is fierce, and we’re delighted to have played our part in bringing home the title.

🥇 Dan Munro – Mini 7 Champion

Another championship-winning performance, with Dan Munro taking the Mini 7 title powered by KAD.

Two championships, two outstanding drivers, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes.

A huge amount of credit must also go to the teams behind Aaron and Dan. From the mechanics and engineers preparing the cars to everyone working tirelessly at the circuit, these results are a real team effort. The dedication, expertise and countless hours put in behind the scenes are just as important to success on track.

At KAD, we specialise in building race engines for classic Minis, and results like these make all the hours in the workshop worthwhile.

Brands Hatch Mini Festival — what a weekend!

Another excellent weekend of racing for the KAD-powered team in the Mini 7 Racing Club, with some seriously impressive results:
🏆 17 podiums
🏆 4 class wins
⚡ 2 fastest laps
🥇 1 pole position

KAD’s Ross Billison was once again the man to beat, taking his 4th consecutive win! He finished every race this weekend with a healthy gap to P2 — at times nearly 7 seconds. What a run!

Massive congratulations to all the drivers and teams on another dominant race meeting. Your hard work and commitment continues to deliver fantastic results.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Peter Woollard on the 12th August.

Peter was one of the founding members of Kent Auto Developments and alongside his son Colin, dedicated the past 36 years to building and running the business.

Peter’s dry sense of humour, kind heart and positive outlook on life touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His hard work and input over the years helped shape Kent Auto Developments into the business it is today. We simply couldn’t have done it without him.

Peter will be deeply missed by our staff, customers, friends and everyone who walked through the doors of KAD. He was often the first person people would meet, always ready with a warm welcome and, no doubt, a characteristic bit of humour.

His presence, contribution and friendship has meant so much to so many, and his loss will be felt throughout the KAD family.

Rest in peace, Peter. You will be deeply missed.

A perfect replacement for the standard rubber cone trumpets to allow for fine adjustment of your Classic Minis ride height.

Made from much higher quality material than others and designed to help stiffen and increase the life of the suspension cone by making the contact area much larger.

Rear rods are also made in high-quality material and the correct knuckle lengths to stop them from splitting.

5 victories. 12 podium finishes. Team KAD!

We arrived at the country’s fastest track and delivered a performance that set the benchmark for power.
This weekend we were racing with the Mini7 Racing club at Thruxton supporting the BTCC.
You can rewatch Sundays racing on ITV4 to see our drivers win every race in style.

Saturday’s racing saw Ian Curley win the Mini Miglia race by a healthy margin, with Aaron Smith finishing second and Phill Harvey taking third in the Libre class.
In the Mini 7s, Dan Munro finished second, with Ross Billison close behind in third. Finally, KAD’s Bertie Woollard claimed victory in the Mini 7 S-Class.

Sunday brought a clean sweep of wins. Aaron Smith won the Mini Miglia race, while the Mini 7s saw a complete KAD podium, with Ross Billison taking the win, followed closely by Dan Munro and Spencer Wanstall. Bertie Woollard also secured another victory in the Mini 7 S-Class.

A huge congratulations to all our drivers on an incredible weekends racing.
