Back to the grind on monday 8th september after a much needed long break with the family over the 6 week holidays, ten years of working for myself i decided to have 5 weeks of the 6 week holidays off, see you all monday 🔧🐒💪

Fridays jobs

1. Rear disks and pads, front pads on a Mercedes a class, seen better days and all seized

2. vw golf gearbox removed to do flywheel, clutch kit, concentric slave and new box oil, dual mass was knackered and the pedal sticking to the floor

3. Diagnose a missfire on a ds3

4. Recover a punto that has starting issues, fuel cut off switch has been activated but it could possible be the ecu as it wont do the reset, a bit more digging before we are 100% its the ecu

5. Diagnosed an oil leak to be a loose oil filter, customer asked me to put a new oil and filter on and clear the service light

Todays jobs

Job no 1.
After stripping the engine out of the vw caddy thats only 1/4 of the job, we then strip all the ancillaries off the engine ready to go to the engine rebuild guys, also the injectors are being sent off for testing.

Job no 2.
Sprinter van in for front to rear brake lines, 2 nut serts in the rear doors for fixing points inside, front brake pads and a new side door track as it was mangled.

Job no 3.
New diesel pump solenoid valve fitted in the gator

Job no 4.
MOT straight pass

Job no 5.
Vauxhall mariva in for a new battery and check over
