The rubber bush has deteriorated causing excess movement in the wishbone this can cause clunking over bumps vague steering and can lead to uneven tyre wear

Did you know that when we fit a new tyre, we also balance the wheel as part of the fitting? 🛞🔧

There’s no additional charge- it’s simply part of the job.

Wheel balancing is an important step that helps the wheel and tyre rotate evenly, reducing vibration and helping to prevent uneven tyre wear.

It’s one of those little jobs you might not see happening behind the scenes, but it makes a difference 👍🏼

These were so badly worn that they were literally crumbling away in our hands 👀🔧

A little bit of family history that’s still being used in the garage today..

This wooden box was made by my Grandad for my Dad many years ago, before eventually being passed down to me.

Nothing fancy, but it’s one of those things that means more than anything you could go out and buy. After all these years, it’s still here in the workshop and still being put to good use.

They certainly made things to last back then! 👏🏼

Hopefully it’ll stay in the family for plenty more years to come 👍🏼

We’ve improvised 😂🔧

We’ve created ourselves a very professional, state-of-the-art drying rack… otherwise known as whatever we could find lying around the workshop 😅

A few bits cleaned up and painted, so we’ll leave them hanging here to dry over the weekend before we get stuck back in.

Just when we thought we had enough parts to keep us busy, another load has turned up 😂

Slowly but surely we’re getting everything together ready to start rebuilding the front end.

Good job we enjoy a project… we’ve certainly created one for ourselves! 🚗👏🏼

Ford Focus project update 🚗

Another job ticked off the list, we’ve refurbished the steering rack and it’s looking much better 👏🏼

We’re finally getting to the stage where we can start putting things back together rather than taking them apart… always a good sign 😂

Not long now until we can start rebuilding the front end and see it all coming together.

Safe to say this one took a few attempts & we still didnt get there!

We could pretend every video is done perfectly in one take… but where's the fun in that? 😂🔧
