SUBARU FORESTER STI – FORGED ENGINE BUILD UNDERWAY AT JM-IMPORTS! 🔧

Another exciting build has landed in the JM workshop! .

This Subaru Forester STI is in with us for a full forged engine build, giving the heart of this Japanese performance machine some serious strengthening! 🇯🇵

🔩 STAGE 1 –

ENGINE REMOVAL & STRIP DOWN

First job is to get the engine out of the car, ready for a complete strip down.

Once removed, we'll carefully dismantle the engine, inspect the internal components and assess everything before selecting the most suitable forged internals and supporting parts for the build.

The aim?

To create a stronger, more reliable engine capable of handling increased performance when the time comes!

There's a lot more involved in building an engine properly than simply throwing forged parts at it. Preparation, inspection, measurements and choosing the correct components are all key to getting the best results.

We'll be sharing more updates as this Forester STI progresses through the build!

A proper analogue M car is on its way to JM-Imports – DUE DECEMBER 2026.

The BMW E92 M3 is widely regarded as one of the greatest M cars ever built, powered by the legendary naturally aspirated S65 4.0 V8. With its 8,400rpm redline, hydraulic steering and unmistakable soundtrack, it represents the end of BMW's naturally aspirated V8 era.

What makes this example particularly desirable is its factory 6-speed manual gearbox. Manual E92 M3s are becoming increasingly difficult to source, especially from Japan, and are now commanding a premium as enthusiasts seek the purest driving experience.

Finished in Space Grey Metallic, this example benefits from tasteful upgrades including carbon fibre exterior enhancements, lightweight performance modifications, an OS Giken Limited Slip Differential and lightweight Enkei wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan A052 tyres.

🔥 JAMES’ AUDI S3 – 500HP CUSTOM BUILD AT JM-IMPORTS! 🔥

Something a little different coming out of the JM-Imports workshop! .

James reached out to us with a vision for his Audi S3. He wanted a car built to his own specification, using components he'd personally researched and selected.

This wasn't a case of us choosing the parts or putting together one of our usual performance packages. James knew exactly what he wanted, and our job was to bring his vision to life!

From the engine build and fitting all the supporting hardware to getting everything working together, our team put the package together before handing it over to Romain at Racecal for the final tuning.

It's not the sort of build we usually get involved with here at JM-Imports, but that's what made this project interesting. Something different, a customer's own vision, and a great result from the team.
