This vehicle was in for a lack of power and squeezing noise under load. Vehicle had been smoke tested before and a boost pipe was replaced which sorted one issue.

After using the Welzh mini smoke machine we found a further 1boost leak and 1 exhaust leak. One was very obvious and the other could have been easy missed.

Brake servo hose loose, this was very easy rectified by putting a clamp back on it.

Other boost leak was coming from the exhaust manifold gasket. Because it has been leaking for a while the chances are there might be damage to exhaust manifold it's self so a recommendation has been made to replace.

No guess work involved in this job, a simple but very effective diagnosis on this one.

Busy last few days, here are some of the jobs done.

A few jobs on the last few days

Vauxhall astra coolant fl**ge leaking, new housing supplyd and fitted

Volvo S60 in for handbrake not working.
Found inboard shoes worn to metal. Replaced rear shoes, fitting kitz new discs and pads too. Handbrake now works a treat.

Ford transit minibus in for a front spring, lucky not to have punctured the tyre

Vauxhall Corsa for front discs and pads

Jeep for front discs and pads

Citroen DS3 for front wheel bearing, ball joint front brakes

Volvo for front track rod ends and drop links and adjusting

Why the hell did fiat think it would be a good idea to have to drop the rear axle to replace a coil spring and having to unbolt the wheel bearing to remove the brake disc 🫣🙄🙄.

Job done and dusted though🚗🚗
