Mistakes are part of learning to drive. 🚗
One thing I always tell my learners:
I don’t expect you to be perfect.
I actually expect you to make mistakes.
Because that’s how you learn.
My first job as your instructor is to keep you safe.
My second job is to teach you how to drive.
The only way to become a confident driver is to experience situations, make decisions, sometimes get them wrong, and understand how to improve.
A stall at a junction.
A missed gear change.
A late decision.
Getting something wrong under pressure.
These things happen.
The important part is what happens next:
✅ Understand why it happened
✅ Learn how to fix it
✅ Build confidence from the experience
The learners who improve fastest aren’t the ones who avoid mistakes.
They’re the ones who learn from them.
That’s how safe, independent drivers are built.
