Can you identify this car?

You may have seen this car at the most recent Bicester Scramble. Although it looks like it, this is not James Hunt's 1976 title-winning McLaren M23. 🤔

In fact, this is a faithfully recreated prop car used for 2013's "Rush".

Do you know the real car underneath? Whilst not a McLaren, it is British... 🇬🇧

It's been four years since Tolman Edition No.000 began its assault on the competitive field at Top Gear's Speed Week 2021. 👊

The prototype for our vision of a Peugeot 205 GTi restomod began as a training exercise for our team - one that we gradually honed into the ultimate incarnation of the ultimate hot hatchback.

An appearance on BBC's Top Gear and a Lamborghini, M3 and McLaren beating performance in Speed Week 2021 saw demand for a production version soar, and the rest is history.
