We’re a very busy specialist workshop working on 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿, 𝗩𝗔𝗚, 𝗕𝗠𝗪, 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀 and a wide range of other prestige and high-end vehicles.

We’re looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and is capable of working both independently and alongside the rest of the team, always maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

𝗘𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧, 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗟𝗬… 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗗.

We can tell you all day long about the service we aim to provide…

But it always means more when it comes from the people who actually bring their cars to us. 🙌

A warning light on the dash doesn’t always mean the first part you replace will fix the problem.

And a fault code doesn’t automatically equal a diagnosis. That’s where proper diagnostics matter.

𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗩𝗜𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗦𝗡’𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗘𝗟 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘… 👀

This Land Rover Discovery 4 arrived at Autotech with a noticeable harsh vibration when the vehicle was under load.

Something definitely wasn’t right.

After investigation, we traced the problem to the driveline:

❌ Failed propshaft centre mount bearing support

The propshaft has an important job transferring power through the drivetrain, and when its centre support starts to fail, the resulting vibration can make itself very well known.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱.
𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱.
𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱. 🔧

And that photo of the two propshafts side-by-side?

Old vs new. Sometimes the diagnosis is easier to appreciate when you can actually see what’s being replaced.

If your Land Rover develops a new vibration, knock, rumble or something just doesn’t feel right when accelerating, don’t simply assume it’s tyres or wheel balance.

Get it properly diagnosed.
