Looks can be deceiving 🧐.
VW Passat in for MOT and on the surface all looks good and from the outside, tyre’s look in great condition with plenty of tread… The Test, however, has uncovered a potentially lethal defect. The inside of the rear tyres were worn through the canvas and in fear of blowout, not to mention highly illegal.
We offer a free tyre check so please feel free to pop in and keep safe on the roads.

“My car is making a funny noise” 😳

Fiat Doblo in for a noise while driving.. let’s just say it didn’t take long to diagnose this one…. I can honestly say I’v never seen a car drive with a gearbox like this 🫣. Recon unit installed along with a new clutch and it’s back on the road 👌🏻.

This little Fiat 500 was presented with intermittent brake warning lights on the dash.. our team set to work diagnosing the problem.
A corroded wire within the loom was the cause.. swiftly repaired the car was in and out within the day 👌🏻.

Keeping the wheels turning..
We also cover light diagnostics and this Dacia certainly benefited from our time and attention. Live data showing anomalies with the steering wheel position 🤔.
The cause was traced to a faulty steering angle sensor which was installed and recalibrated to the vehicle. We are now warning light free 👌🏻. Happy customer 👍🏻

Bringing your car to the garage ranks just below a dentist visit on the list of "Things Nobody Wants To Do".

We get it - no one chooses to be here and we honestly don’t like your car having problems.

But here's the deal:

We're here doing our best to keep your car safe, roadworthy, and running smoothly - not to be on the receiving end of rude comments, shouting, or sarcasm about your bill or your car's latest hiccup.

So a few gentle reminders from your friendly local garage:

•All invoices must be paid on collection - unless you've made a prior arrangement with a manager.

• We're mechanics, not mind-readers or miracle-workers.

• And yes - we are actual humans under the oil stains, and the way you speak to us can genuinely make or break our day.
