Cheapest around for both unleaded and diesel. Keen to see as many of you on site as possible. Higher volume means lower prices. Please support the shop too, just picking up a few snacks and drinks really helps us keep fuel prices lower at the pump for longer. Happy Sunday lovely people! Following an unfortunate interaction with a member of the public last week with thought it would be useful to clarify for everyone how our relationship with FORECOURT EYE works. ⛽️👁️ This company provide a debt recovery system for no means of payment and drive off incidents. So when a customer doesn’t have the money to pay or simply fills up and drives off with no attempt to pay then their contact information and vehicle details get taken and Forecourt Eye ensure we get paid and escalate it via solicitors and the courts if necessary. We also have an Automatic Number Plate Recognition Camera so when you drive onto our forecourt, your vehicle will flag to our staff if it has been matched on a database of vehicles which have bad debts elsewhere around the country and it will prompt staff to ask for prior payment. It will also alert if your vehicle’s number plate has been cloned and therefore could be subject to a case of identity theft which the customer can then investigate with the police. It’s certainly not personal. It’s the system just telling our staff to be err on the side of caution and take prior payment. Before we used Forecourt Eye we used to lose up to £5k a year to bad debt and drive offs. Now it’s significantly less. Forecourt Eye is now an essential part of our operational infrastructure and by not incurring so many bad debt losses we can keep prices as low as possible for our paying customers. So if your vehicle flags get in touch with Forecourt Eye to understand why. Oh and we also report and send CCTV footage of all drive offs to the police and will consider putting the footage on social media. We’ve had a lot of people ask us recently why our fuel prices have gone up. We would like to confirm that despite what the government have said it is absolutely not because we are profiteering. We are making LESS than our target margin required to make a sustainable profit. At times we have actually been selling fuel at a LOSS. We are also selling less fuel as a result of the price increases. We are hoping for a swift de-escalation of the conflict and would ask that all customers read the below to understand how fuel pricing works. Please do not take it out on our frontline staff. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 They do not set the prices and have no control over the pricing situation.

Fuel has shot up at the pumps since the Middle East conflict, and prices can vary hugely. So how are they set? And to what extent are forecourts profiteering?

Just to reassure our customers we have plenty of all fuel grades, regular unleaded, ultimate unleaded, regular diesel and ultimate diesel. There are no supply issues. No need to panic buy. Posting for awareness for our local community. These three individuals are now banned from BP Londis Hampstead Service Station on Finchley Road for attempted shoplifting and for criminal damage with one of them breaking the shop door glass costing us many hundreds of pounds to replace. No masks. No respect. No shame. Why should we as a small UK family owned and operated business have to tolerate such appalling behaviour.
