Team Spotlight – Callum 🔦

Callum is the newest member of our workshop team and has now been with us for nearly a year.

Since joining, he’s settled in well and become a regular part of the day-to-day workshop, carrying out a wide range of servicing and repair work.

It’s been good to see his progress over the past year and we’re pleased to have him as part of the team 👏

🔧 A big job in the workshop from a couple weeks ago!

This BMW X1 came in for a replacement heater box, using a genuine part supplied by the main dealer.

Getting to the heater box meant Jason had to carry out a full dashboard strip, replace the unit and then carefully rebuild everything back into place.

Definitely one of those jobs where most of the work is hidden once it’s finished, but a lot of time and care goes into getting it right. 👏

Another long job completed and the BMW back together and ready to go. 🚗

🔧 A quick shoutout to Kole!

Kole joined us back in 2023 through our apprenticeship scheme, learning the trade and building his experience alongside the team.

Fast forward to today and he’s now working full-time as part of our busy workshop team. 👏

It’s great to see someone come through the apprenticeship route, develop their skills and become a proper part of the team.

Well done, Kole — keep up the good work! 🚗🔧

A nice visit to the workshop last week from representatives from GSF Car Parts and Bosch after we were lucky enough to win one of their recent competitions! 👏

Pictured are Leigh, our Workshop Manager, alongside technicians Jason, Jordan and Kole.

Having strong relationships with the brands and suppliers we work with is really important to us. It helps us make sure we can offer our customers good-quality parts, competitive prices and the best service possible, while also having great support behind us when we need it.

⚠️ Oil warning light on a 1.2 PureTech? Don’t ignore it.

In this video, Jason takes you through a wet belt replacement and gives the customer an update on what we found during the job. This vehicle had an oil warning light flashing on the dashboard, which can be a sign of wet belt debris affecting the engine’s oil supply.

If you drive a Peugeot, Citroën, DS or Vauxhall with a 1.2 PureTech engine and your oil warning light comes on, stop driving where safe and give us a call straight away. Leaving it could lead to serious engine damage.

This lovely campervan was in with us this week for a service and some additional repair work 🚐🔧

During our checks, we diagnosed a leaking AdBlue injector underneath the vehicle, which was replaced while it was with us. It’s now serviced, repaired and ready for its next trip.
