A small air conditioning leak doesn't usually stay small forever.

Seals, hoses, condensers and other components can all develop faults over time.

The sooner the source is identified, the sooner you know what you're actually dealing with.

If your air con keeps losing performance, don't keep guessing.

Get it properly checked. 🔧

At lower speeds, opening the windows can help cool the cabin quickly. But once you're travelling faster, open windows create extra drag.

That’s when a properly working air con system can make for a much more comfortable drive without all the wind and road noise.

Sometimes the A/C button really is your best mate. ❄️

07/10/2026

Replacing parts until the air con starts working isn't diagnostics. It's an expensive guessing game.

A proper diagnosis looks at what the system is doing, where it's failing and which component is actually responsible.

Sometimes the obvious suspect isn't the problem at all.

Test first. Understand the fault. Repair what's actually needed.

That's how the job should be done. 🔧❄️

Haven't switched your air con on for months?

Give it some work.

Running the system regularly throughout the year helps keep refrigerant and lubricant circulating through the components and seals.

You don't need to wait for a hot day either. Use it alongside the heater when you need to clear moisture from the cabin.

Your air con isn't a summer-only system. ❄️

01/10/2026

That smell when you first switch the air con on? Probably worth paying attention to. 👃❄️

Moisture can build up around the evaporator and ventilation system, creating the perfect environment for bacteria and unpleasant odours.

If your car smells musty when the air con starts running, don't just cover it up with an air freshener. Get the system checked and deal with what's actually causing it.

28/09/2026

If your air con was regassed recently and it's already stopped cooling properly again, there's probably more to investigate.

Refrigerant doesn't simply get "used up" like fuel.

If the system is losing refrigerant faster than expected, there may be a leak or another fault that needs finding.

Repeatedly topping it up isn't the same as repairing it.

Find the cause first. 🔍❄️

25/09/2026

Due to staff holidays, we are closed this Saturday the 26th. We are back open as usual on Monday at 8am.

f your van is your workplace, a working air conditioning system isn't exactly a luxury.

Hours behind the wheel in a hot cabin can make an already long working day pretty uncomfortable.

Whether it's a work van, commercial vehicle or everyday car, the principle is the same: keep the system maintained and deal with problems before they leave you sweating through the working day. ❄️

22/09/2026

Right at the front of the car, your air conditioning condenser gets very little protection from everyday driving.

Road debris, dirt, corrosion and general wear can all take their toll over time.

And when the condenser isn't doing its job properly, neither is the rest of the system.

Sometimes the problem with your air con isn't what's happening inside the cabin. It's what's been happening at the front of the car. ❄️
