Nissan Qashqai – Injector Replacement & Coding

This Nissan Qashqai came in requiring attention to injector No. 4.

Work carried out:

* Injector No. 4 removed and replaced
* New injector seals fitted
* Injector calibration/code registered to the ECU
* Fuel system checked for leaks
* Fault codes cleared
* Final running checks carried out

Correct injector coding is important because the ECU uses the individual injector calibration value to compensate for manufacturing tolerances and control fuelling correctly. Nissan service information specifies performing injector adjustment-value registration when an injector is replaced.
