🚗🎉 Another fantastic first-time pass! 🎉🚗

After a successful morning, it was Millie's turn in the afternoon, and despite the wind and rain, she only went and smashed her driving test FIRST TIME! 👏🥳

There were a few nerves on the day, but when it mattered most, you pulled it out of the bag and delivered! All that hard work and effort certainly paid off.

Millie, it's been an absolute pleasure being your driving instructor, and I'll genuinely miss our Thursday afternoons!

Although we're not quite finished yet, as we've still got a lesson or two planned to give you some experience driving in the dark. 🌙🚗

Congratulations again, Millie! A fantastic achievement and a thoroughly well-deserved first-time pass!

Enjoy your freedom, stay safe on the roads, and keep in touch! 👏🎉

🚗🎉 Another fantastic pass! 🎉🚗

An early start yesterday with an 8:10am driving test, but that was no problem for Manideep!

He only went and passed with just 3 driving faults! 👏🥳

Clearly, the early morning start didn't affect you one bit! 😄

Manideep, you've been an absolute pleasure to teach, and I've genuinely enjoyed every minute of our lessons.

A brilliant result and a thoroughly well-deserved pass!

Enjoy your freedom on the roads, stay safe, and don't be a stranger!

Well done again, Manideep! 🚗👏

🎉 Another result in West Didsbury! 🚗💨

A massive congratulations to Bethan, who absolutely pulled it out of the bag yesterday and passed her driving test with just 2 driving faults! 👏

Bethan produced a brilliant drive when it counted, with the examiner even commenting on how well she drove! ⭐️

All that extra private practice with Dad definitely paid off too. 🙌

Well done again, Bethan — thoroughly deserved!

🎉 Happy ADI Anniversary to me! 🚗

Wow… a whole year has passed since I passed my Part 3 and officially became an Approved Driving Instructor!

Not long after, I took the plunge and started my own independent driving school — L Passo Cheshire Driving School.

I've met some brilliant people, shared plenty of laughs, celebrated passes and hopefully helped create safer, more confident drivers along the way.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who's been part of the journey so far. ❤️

🇪🇸🌟 LA SUPERESTRELLA! 🌟🇪🇸

This Spanish superstar only went and smashed her driving test today! 🚗💨

The nerves stayed under control and she came away with just 3 driving faults — with the examiner even commenting that it was a good drive. 👏

I’ll definitely miss the laughs on our lessons, especially the occasional reminder to other drivers:

“Stay put… I have priority!” 😂

And there’s more good news… everyone from Evuna who has been learning with me has now passed, so I think that means I can be allowed in now. 😂🍽️

It’s been an absolute pleasure. Enjoy your new-found freedom, stay safe on the roads, and don’t forget to give me a wave when you see me out and about! 👋🚗

¡Felicidades, superestrella! 🇪🇸🌟

Massive congratulations, Xander. Your hard work has paid off and it’s been a pleasure helping you along the way.

Now there’s just one thing left to do…

Get that car fixed and get yourself on the road! 😂🔧

Congratulations again, mate. See you out there! 👋🚗

🧠 Understanding Today’s Learner Drivers – CPD

It’s not always just about teaching someone how to drive — understanding the person sitting next to you is just as important.

I’ve recently completed a 4-hour CPD workshop, Understanding Today’s Learner Drivers, exploring the psychology and behaviour of modern learners.

The course looked at areas including:

• Confidence and low self-esteem
• Worry, anxiety and emotional sensitivity
• How learners react to mistakes and feedback
• The impact of digital distractions and cognitive overload
• How different generations may respond differently to learning
• Adapting communication and teaching styles to suit the individual

One of the biggest takeaways for me was that the same teaching approach won't work for every learner.

Sometimes what might look like a driving issue is actually a confidence, communication or an emotional barrier. Understanding that can help an instructor adapt the lesson rather than simply repeating the same instruction.

For me, CPD is about continuing to develop as an instructor and taking useful ideas back into the car.

🚶‍♂️ L Passo Cheshire Driving School – 10,000 Steps a Day Challenge! 🚗

Being a driving instructor means spending A LOT of time sitting in the car. 🚘😂

So, on 1st January, I set myself a little challenge: 10,000 steps every day to make sure I actually get out of the driver’s seat and keep moving!

From 1st January to 31st July, I’ve clocked up an amazing…

🔥 2,486,719 STEPS! 🔥

That’s a lot of walking for someone whose office has four wheels! 😂

The challenge is all about keeping myself motivated, getting out of the car between lessons and making sure I’m not permanently attached to the driver’s seat!

2.48 million steps down… and the challenge continues! 💪

Anyone else trying to get their steps up? 👟

If Messi can do it, L Passo Cheshire Driving School can match it — with a hat-trick of passes! ⚽🚗

Today it was Rosie's turn, and she absolutely smashed it, passing her driving test with a fantastic drive. In fact, the examiner even commented on what a good drive it was.

Rosie has been with me from the very beginning, and her motivation for learning to drive was simple: to gain more independence. Today, she achieved exactly that and earned her freedom on the road.

A huge congratulations, Rosie! It's been a pleasure helping you on your journey, and I wish you many years of safe and happy driving ahead. 🎉🚘
