Well, I honestly can't believe I'm actually writing this on my Facebook, but here goes... ❤️

Ryan and I came to The Shard in London this evening for dinner, and this little beggar has only gone and popped the question! 💍

And, of course, I said YES!!! 🥰❤️

My rock, my best friend and the person who stands beside me through absolutely everything.

I honestly couldn't be happier. What a night, what a surprise and what a memory we'll have forever.

Here's to the next chapter together. ❤️🥂

Well, a very good morning to each and every one!

Hope everyone is keeping well. It's been another quick week!

Just a wee note to let you all know that we've decided to close this weekend. Ryan has whisked me away for a wee bit of quality time together, bless him! ❤️
This will definitely be my last holiday for a while, that's for sure! And no more weekends off after this one until Christmas! 😂
I honestly can't believe I'm typing those words, but Davey has worked incredibly hard over the past wee while and certainly deserves a well-earned break too.

I'll get back to everyone and respond to all enquiries when I'm home.

In the meantime, I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. ❤️

Genuine question for the tyre fitters out there who’s in the wrong here?

A customer contacted me about getting a puncture repaired. I had no availability until Monday, so they booked with another company in Inverness instead.

They booked online, selected the recommended tyre size, and had the tyre fitted. Once home, they realised the company had fitted the wrong size tyre.

The correct size should have been 205/60 R16, but they fitted a 205/55 R16.

The customer went back to the company, only to be told it was their own fault for selecting the wrong size and that they would have to pay for another tyre. It has now apparently gone to head office.

Now, am I wrong in thinking that any competent tyre fitter should check the size of the tyre coming off the vehicle before fitting a replacement? Surely you also check the other tyres, especially on vehicles with staggered sizes.

If the wrong tyre has been fitted, why should the customer be expected to pay again?

Personally, I think this is absolutely disgraceful. But I'd genuinely like to hear from other tyre fitters what do you think? Who's responsible here?
